This story is a sequel to Denouement Of Power: Forever A Ranger
Twilight and her friends & the Power Rangers have saved Earth and Equestria. But now, our planet is in danger again! When Evox and his minions hatch the ultimate plan to take over the Morphin Grid, Twilight’s coronation is put on hold and she and both teams face a tough challenge when they try to stop Blaze, Roxy & Scrozzle...the last remaining members of the Legion of Doom. They have already seized teleporters from Grid Battleforce before the legendary battle, and intend to do the same with a tower of Morph-X, putting everyone on Earth in grave danger. But when Blaze captures one of their own, the Mane Six and the rangers must band together, and go on a desperate mission to stop Evox once and for all!
Continuity:
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - It will take place after the battle with the legendary rangers, and before Twilight’s coronation.
Beast Morphers - A rewrite of the episodes, “Target: Tower” & “Evox: Upgraded”, so most of this will probably not be canon.

And I'm guessing that Evox and the other villains of the Legion will make a return? Also, throughout this series, there was some stuff that didn't make sense, like Blaze and Roxy supposedly draining all of the magic from Equestria and putting it into Tartarus, as they said in the previous story of the series. What's up with that?

Evox could return...we will just have to wait and see. Also, as for Chrysalis, Tirek, and Grogar? No probably not. Also in response to your second question, when the magic got sucked from the beings, Grogar’s bell was powered by Tartarus magic which pretty much explains it. Also, Blaze and Roxy’s will return in upcoming stories. You’ll just have to wait and see.

Interesting but how do they have the King Zord right now? Canon doesn't even know about it til halfway through season 2 when they're introduced to it as a new weapon against Evox. And this final battle is the end of Season 1 of Beast Morphers.
