This is just a shot in the dark, but I think Trixie acts the way she does around Twilight, because Trixie respects and admires Twilight. She just doesn't realize it. Hell, Twilight may be the only one that can really help Trixie with her "mental" issues.
She had not quite yet mastered control over her telepathy and her list looked almost illegible, like it had been written by a little filly.
Telepathy is reading thoughts and the like, you meant 'telekinesis'.
