Poignant little story. The changes between perspectives were pretty jarring though. Now, if the whole thing is a letter written by Dinky to Ditzy it makes a lot more sense, it just isn't clear that that may be the case until the very end.

Well, since dew is simply "moisture condensed upon the surfaces of cool bodies," I may well simply be implying that it is cool and humid out. Though I would understand the close of association of dew with morning as it typically forms during the night. Also, no I totally didn't look up the word 'dew' just to see if it really was only for morning wet things instead of anytime wet things. Shut up. I'm far more confident than that... now excuse whilst I go cry under the covers in lament of my poor, unworthy diction. (Please Note: the preceding may or may not have been one overly long moment of silliness enabled by tiredness and to be deleted later out of shame during the author's next moment of lucidity)

Someday, I should dig out the more coherent version and finish it up, buuuuuut... after a couple years and going by internet time, this is a bit of a "Jiminy Cripes, how did you even make it here through all the suspension bridge cable thick cobwebs and dust motes the size of cadillacs?" in terms of time scale that makes me doubt that that will actually happen.
