So far...
I like it.

After reading the first chapter I can already see where this may be going, and I have to say it is intriguing. Most stories play this kind of theme from a different character and place (and is usually how they get to the great nation ruled by the Royal sisters). But if this is indeed going as I imagine, not only is it unique, but you can also consider me greatly interested.

I hope I deserve and can continue to keep your interest.

:trixieshiftright:Huh, interesting concept. A real-life D&D campaign with dashs character actually her. This is interesting.

You have my attention.

And you’re not the only one.

Welcome, I greet you to the audience. There is always an open seat for another.:moustache:

Finally! I found it again! Please, this was so cool when I first read it, dont let it die? Please? Its really cool, and the idea is amazing. Who's the voice that seems to be narrarating? Why is this happening to Rainbow? I NEED ANSWERS!!!

Working on it. Slow going though. I have a bad habit of not finishing things, so I'm making my self work on getting things done.

10225248
Well if it hurts you to finish, that's no good. It will make the story sloppy, and I'm pretty sure you dont want that. Take your time with it, and write when you feel the urge.

10225392
No no, it doesn't hurt me, it's just a bad habit. I want to finish it but my brain keeps coming up with a bunch of little useless things to procrastinate.

10225668
Oh, well then I fully understand. The same thing happens to me, mainly on my story Seven Riders of Equestria. I haven't updated in a while, but I have the 7th chapter started.

10226154
Good luck to you on that then.

Thanks. Good luck to you on this.

People should make more of these story’s

I would love and hate that at the same time. :twilightsheepish: I would love seeing more unique stories to read and I would hate not being the only one anymore.

Out of all the Elements, the Element of "Laughter" is the only one to believe her.

Wow, I thought this story was dead, but I see that rumor was greatly exaggerated. It is good to see a 'gnarly' story back.:trollestia:

Never dead, just sleeping. And I'm glad you like my little twist. In all honesty, it was the only one that made sense. At this point in time Twilight trusts her superiors too much to question it, Applejack would only look at the surface facts and not dig deeper, Fluttershy would be to nervous to find out more and Rarity wouldn't know Dash well enough to tell if she was lying or not.

Pinkie's the only one of the Mane 6 to care and understand all her friends as best she can. Hell, her party planning demands she know a lot about them so she can make the best parties she can so she needs to know. It just made the most sense.

11085132
True, even beyond the norm', Pinkie does kind of have a sixth-sense for that.

A lot has happened so far, with much still left unknown...
and all of it is rife with suspicion.

If I may put on my detective's hat and speak my thoughts for a bit...

As the audience we know someone setup Rainbow, but from the evidence we know that one of her feathers was found, and that she had the very artifact in her saddlebags. However, instead of a conclusion where we should get all the answers, this case only bears more questions; and the most pressing one concerns the "client" Princess Celestia.

The presence of the "accused" Rainbow Dash's feather at the crime scene as well as her being in possession of the stolen artifact can be damning. However, unless the Royal Princesses magic scans of the feather can give them CCTV footage, it does not in fact prove Rainbow Dash as the thief. At best it proves she was there at the scene, but it could also have been planted. Finding the stolen artifact in the accused personal saddlebags draws even more questions. If Rainbow Dash had in fact stolen the dangerous artifact, why would she have deliberately brought it back with her to the castle instead of hiding it someplace only she knows? If she was caught before getting rid of it, why did she smash it on the ground? Why did she steal it in the first place? And it still stands to reason that if someone had the ability to break into the Castle's secure vault almost without anyone noticing, then they could have just as easily broke into the accused's home and planted the artifact.

And now we get to the event of when the client confronted the accused. Princess Celestia and Luna themselves checked the feather against another from the accused with magic; a feather "taken" according to eyewitness accounts. That was a bit of a surprising act coming from the caring, diplomatic Princess Celestia, since touching a Pegasus's feathers without permission is a social faux pas. Rainbow Dash seemed compliant enough, so I question the rough treatment. From there the accused was directly confronted by Princess Celestia. As the accusations continued, Rainbow Dash was eventually asked to empty her saddle bags, where the artifact fell out and smashed to the floor. Then once the evil miasma dispersed, Princess Celestia attacked the accused with a concentrated magical blast destroying the far wall. I have no doubt that, had the accused not escaped the majority of that blast with only being wounded, the castle staff would not have been able to tell Rainbow's ashes from the rubble to bury. The accused then quickly fled out the throne windows and escaped with a signature sonic-rainboom over the city.

And so starts my biggest concern. The evidence found was circumstantial, not enough there to really stick; since Princess Celestia helped found our laws and judicial system she should know that. But the eye witness accounts depict the Princess almost overly aggressive.

In the end I am left with many unanswered questions. Why did the Element of Loyalty Rainbow Dash steal the artifact? How did a Pegasus break into the Castle's secure hidden vault? That magic blast aimed at Rainbow Dash would have killed her. Did Princess Celestia intend to commit a murder? Was a normally calm and collected being so lost to her anger that she lost control? If the Princess lost herself to emotion, how reliable is she to lead the investigation unbiased? Is there something else going on behind the scenes?

That last question is the only one I can safely answer now, there just isn't enough red yarn on the board connecting the evidence to the bigger picture for me to answer no.

*(Detective hat off)*
So...there are my thoughts. It is stories like this that get me fired up and my mind racing. I look forward to more, sir. :moustache:

:rainbowderp:
YOU... You are the kind of reader I write for. :yay: That breakdown was amazing, well thought out and clear. I can't give you answers as that would give away my story but I will say you're right on there being a third party and I will say no more on the matter. :raritywink:

As to the feather bit, in a magical-engery rich universe, as the one Equestria is in, being able to determine what kind of magic was used and more importantly whose magic it is would be paramount. Magic is so common and interwoven with the world it would be hard to tell one spell from another without the visual effects they produce, kind of like pointing out a specific drop of rain in a thunder storm. It's doable but may as well be impossible. So in this universe ( it's my own idea for a rule of magic I guess you could say) any aspiring unicorn, alicorn or magic user must be able to sense and/or be taught a spell to diagnose magical signatures.

Kind of like a magical finger print, if you will, or an individuals DNA. Everyone would have a slightly different signature that the average magic user would/should be able to figure out. I hope that fleshes out the world a bit more for you at least.

And please, keep those theories and speculations coming. Stuff like that makes the writing I do all worth it.:pinkiehappy:

Happy to be of service.:twilightsheepish:
