The cover art is based on the Vitruvian Man, a series of measurements and dimensional correlations of the ideal man. In short, a template of a perfect specimen. The cover art is more symbolic of the core theme than a literal image.

Compared to the actual show, and the canon route taken by Hasbro, this story truly deserves credit where credit is due.
