Sounds to me that the King in Yellow has decided to take up merchandising. I wonder though if this one was penned by a mad Saddle Arabian or perhaps this world’s version of Simmon. At least Simmon’s edition is slightly less malevolent...as long as you keep all its components separated anyway.
