Yes and I DID consider setting it a few days later, but then I realized everyone was already at the festival, and Pinkie Pie. Just Pinkie Pie. :P
My goal was to produce something 'original flavor', as I've heard said. In other words, something that makes you go "I bet this was going to happen anyway". :P So mission accomplished on that front, at least.
I liked it but things felt too easy in my opinion. It would've been nice to see Fizzle Pop struggle a little so we feel that she's earned her horn back. I don't know just a suggestion. nicely written otherwise.

Hmmm... I had considered writing more on this thread. You'll note I left a little wiggle room: she doesn't have her horn back at the end, and the treatment is still experimental. No promises, but if I can come up with a good idea on how it could feel earned, I'll write a sequel.
