Oh, Twilight. You are not going to like Unfiltered Sex-Doll Celestia.
Two chapters in a single day? (I really need to fix my sleep schedule...)
But neither of those chapters contain sex?
This was kindnof short, oh well.
Wow, Twilight I knew she would be pissed but that'ts not fair to outright vilify the guy. She's never been in a life or death situation.
8080426 Life isn't fair, especially when someone is highly emotional. After all, Celestia's image in her mind is gone, and she didn't realize she and her friends were being affected this way.
Cute update.^^
Yeeeeee
Update!
And yea, Celestia might be a biiiit annoyed if she gets the immunity, since its the only thing keeping her sane atm.
On the upside, Twilight's counterspell is only temporary, so her casting it on Tia hopefully wouldn't have any lasting consequences. However, I'm sure it will be quite the spectacle, regardless.
Here's hoping the fallout will give Twilight the reality check she needs to realize Pascal isn't the villain.
As an aside, while it was a little disappointing to not see the reactions of the ponies in the meeting first-hand, you handled avoiding explaining what we already knew with Celestia very admirably, AuNaturale.
I am continuing to dig the world building and limitations. Like I said, a big problem I've noticed in a lot of these mind control stories is that they go overboard. Where before the normal seemed to be a boundless fountain of energy, I like the idea that it now follows the same limitations of any other spell and can result in exhaustion if overused. It's a simple, practical limitation.
This confused me in the last chapter too. I thought the prior affects of the Normal were still in play, making everyone accepting of what happened already. I remember Celestia, near the climax, saying she'd have to go back and fix all that Pascal had done, implying that the attitudes instilled by his were still in effect. Also, wouldn't at least Twilight have suspected that something called Normal would have was making changes to and around him?
Also, I really hope the humans who made Equestria don't come back. I realize it would be narratively interesting, but I feel that needlessly complicate the story.

i'm running with the assumption that being told 'you've been mind-controlled' has the effect of making one go 'oh shit!' and re-evaluate all past interactions while doing one's best to resist said mind control
in the beginning of the first story, Twilight wasn't in the loop of calling it 'the Normal' or anything, it was just this calming cosmic concept to her. she was more fascinated by the fact that she had successfully injected magic into a magicless being. i imagine she might've been on the lookout at first for any dangerous side effects, but nothing strange jumped out at her so she thought 'seems legit,' and then Pascal brought up the resurgence and she thought 'there it is, that's the side effect' and stopped looking
so yes, the wool got pulled over Twi's eyes and now she's more than a little pissed
From Twilight's perspective, it certainly does make more sense for all of society's sex-based problems to be caused by the pervert with mind-control powers than for them to predate him in any meaningful way.

Hmm. That could have been emphasized better in the chapter.

I feel that she's definitely being unfair. But I'd like to think it's because her whole world's been turned upside down and is now too confused to understand all sides of the situation. Yes she's really trying to vilify Pascal but I'm hoping she's going to calm down once she's had time to truly comprehend all the things that have happened.
Even though this story is anthro and alternate universe; Pascal knows that all the events before his arrival are canon to the show. In the show Twilight had a few near death experiences. Her fights with Sombra and Tirek, the confrontation with the dragon, nearly crushed by a boulder, and fleeing from the hydra to name a few.
That, however, makes me a little more annoyed at Twilight. It's because she's been in enough serious situations that she should have at least some sense of what Pascal's going through. Even if she's been under the brunt of his Normal influences.
8080729 The hydra bit I can under stand but even then she had either magic or friends to back her up. Sombra, Tirek, Chrysalis, Discord didn't actively made an attempt at anyone's life. They wanted to change the status quo but not kill anyone. For Pascal, he was in serious danger almost constantly. He had no friends or back up until much later and even then he was still under attack. She has a right to be mad and I think she'll mellow out. But I would like her to do it on her own rather then the normal rationalizing her to do so.
Not sure if I'm going to want to keep this up if it turns into him apologizing to everyone and them being assholes every time. Or really having to go around and apologize to everyone in situations like he had to with Twilight there.
He's too submissive. Sure, he may have done bad things, and held the fate of Equestria in his hands, but no one ever does this with dangerous villains. They don't question them and attack them and belittle them and whatnot if someone is likely to just snap and kill them all or erase the world as they know it.
They only do this to people who are sorry. Who want to do and be better. Who are acting submissive. THAT is abuse. That's taking advantage of someone who has already proven they want to do right by you. It's berating and shaming and villifying someone who has decided that they want to help you or make up for something they've done just to satisfy some sense of inner pettiness or revenge. But they wouldn't EVER do it to someone who maintained their position as a potential threat. They'd instead be discussing how to not piss him off.
It's disgusting.
Why couldn't we have left it at "some part of you wanted to do this with him or it never would have happened"? Because let's face it, that was more or less true, and they should take responsibility for that much at least.
Doormat Human...
Ugh~ I really hope this situation is resolved soon, so we can move past Pascal acting like this.
8081099 I partially agree with you. There's nothing that ruins a Human in Equestria story for me more than said human being a complete doormat for the ponies. But Pascal's done a lot of legally AND morally questionable things. Owning up to that? I wouldn't call that being a doormat. If it was more about Pascal being so chill about Twilight having a seemingly and potentially, damning advantage over him in the form of that counter spell than I can see where you're coming from. But I imagine it's kind of like if you had super strength, the strength to pop somones head off as easy as flicking a finger. Sure, you control yourself most of the time but wouldn't it be a little nice to have someone able to stop you before you accidentally hurt someone?
A very nice paradox backlash resolution there, but now theres a brutal dichotomy positive feedback occuring? If Pascal says anything, or anyone who has ever been associated with Pascal says anything, in his defence, then he is obviously mind controlling them and it doesnt matter how much the nullification spell fails, his control is just that much more deeply burnt in and insiduous? If Pascal or anyone supporting him doesnt say anything it means his mind control is working just the way he wants it to and so he can work on something and someone else instead?
Pascal couldve normalised the sex goddess abilites as being functionally immortal with extended cartoon physics, to everyone, so that there wouldnt be talk about hurting, unwanted advances or interactions or against the will because if any action no matter how excessive can be treated just the saame way as someone talking next to you, as in easy to ignore if something shiny glints nearby, then Pascals human based fears simply dont even exist to start with and there wouldnt be anything for them to be based on in the first place to caus problems to occur?
If the Cake Twins are the only babies in the whole of Ponyville in the current 6 years of the show, given the age of the CMC etc, what would that give for a rough example of rate of reproduction of the agrarian society, then compare that to human rates given the richer and longer people live, the less children they have, it would give an idea of average lifespan of these ponies? After all, even though they live in town, they can always just walk out the door, and eat grass, being pretty much effectively self contained?
Yeah, sure, let's have the mare who represents all of the Elements of Harmony be willing to completely ignore the truth of the situation. That's gonna end real well. And yes, from what I understand, the Element of Magic is basically the culmination of the other five Elements, just on lesser levels. The show says the Elements of Harmony are aspects of both Harmony and Friendship, and hints multiple times that Magic is the power of Friendship, Magic is Friendship being the chief clue here. And since all of the Elements are aspects of Harmony and Friendship, that means Magic encompasses the other five Elements, though likely on a lesser scale. I'll grant it's a bit of a logic trap, but the logic is there.
Though, Twilight was basically told that the woman who was for all intents and purposes her second mother was a sex-addict and drug-addict (if you count human semen as a drug to ponies.) so some leeway is to be allowed.
Twilight's issue, as far as I can tell, is that she is mistaking brainwashing for mind control. Pascal's ability is, at it's core, brainwashing, limits and all. Twilight is scared because she is suddenly confronted with not only someone who could change her with nothing more than some well placed words, but a harsh and, to her, illogical change in Celestia. Her mind put two and two together and came up with twenty two. She thinks Pascal has mind controlled Celestia into the sex-addict and drug-addict that she is, and is out the "cure" her teacher, when in fact it is only through Pascal's power that Celestia has begun to truly recover.
You know, Twilight's feelings about Pascal here would explain a LOT about her attitude towards Discord in the show. Even after season 4, it still feels like Twilight is the only pony among the mane 6 to actually accept Discord rather than just tolerate him. Especially after the whole 'in-joke' episode. Granted the guy can be a nuisance, but she behaves like she'd prefer to put him back in stone if everypony else wouldn't get mad at her for it.
Who is this "unicorn" you speak of?
My mind:
Pascal: You can't fight evil with a macaroni duck!
Twilight: I'll be the judge of that!
Twilight marches out of the room, leaving an upper part wall damaged by her horn.

I'll just say this: in order to coordinate a group of five very different virtues (which may at times be at odds with each other*), you kinda have to speak their language. It makes some sense. Things resonate with like, and all that. You have to have compassion to recognise it in others.**
* I mean, sometimes being loyal means you're not too kind... and sometimes you may need to be a little less than honest to bring joy about... etc.
** then again, there's also the sheer power of magic one needs to display; otherwise any ol' pony could, to some degree, serve as the 'commander'; I'd say you'd need the strength to bring them all to heel when needed? Phoenixes in Harry Potter are courageous, but they aren't smart.
8082824
Yeah it never felt like they actually made friends with anyone who wasn't a pony. Except for fluttershy becoming discord friend. They never spent time with him Except once after the triek thing.
