just in time for Cyber Monda– wait, shit, fuck
Oh shit, a chapter literally just popped up! Time for me to mindlessly devour it.
This was an amazing chapter, great job. I particularly liked that little heart-tugging glimpse into Trixie's real thoughts when she let that bit slip, the poor girl. The way she acted was hot as hell, too.
Is this the first time that Pascal has straight up cut loose and gone full-on mind control sex slave master? Here's hoping it doesn't have any lasting negative effects. The thing I like the most about this fic is that it has me thinking of the consequences of basically everything that happens. Even if it's a small thing, I'm immediately thinking about how it'll play out later on.

wait until a certain somepony hears about the new loud-and-proud 'master' under her roof
I've always had a soft spot for Pascal/Trixie.
Your incarnation of Trixie is a favorite of mine.
Thanks, AuNaturale.

Oh no. Oh no.

After reading the chapter, I had a sneaking suspicion that this would be in Pascal's near future.
And the ramifications of this could be wildly different, depending on which of the sisters catches wind of this first.
For Pascal's sake, I hope it's Luna, because I don't really want to imagine what psychological harm this situation would cause to her sister. After all the good Pascal has done for Celestia's fragile self-consciousness, it would be a tragedy if her trust in him were to be crushed, possibly irrevocably so. Luna would react badly, for sure, but I think Pascal would have a better shot at explaining things and making amends with her than with Celestia.
You could have picked any other name to be called, Pascal. Daddy, Lord, Sir, anything. But you had to pick the one that triggers the PTSD of goddesses you're supposed to be working to help.

lol, Also I'd love to see how his powers affect other races, like Griffins and such.
.....I like this plan.
If I had a room that self-cleaned, I wouldn't even bother with towels! Just get out of the shower dripping wet and jump in bed. Hell, even roll around on the floor if the carpet's soft enough!
Another excellent chapter, once again.:D
... Can we get a chapter of trixie having her incredible symphony? From her perspective like you did with Cadence?
Just wondering when to expect a new chapter, thanks :)

Are you still there, dear author?

Did you not read the original? One would think your preconceptions of "oh look, this might be nice porn" would be squarely out the fucking window after that... The original is one hell of a powerful story. Filled to the goddamn brim with fucking, of course.
This is one of those "came for the porn, stayed for the feels" sort of affairs.

Equestria makes dicks strong enough to punch jaws with.

I think it was said in one of the later chapters, but the problem with Pascal trying to self limit was that he can basically cancel it at any time. The only way to stop Acceptance from ever affecting anyone is to get rid of the source altogether, somehow shutting down Pascal's magic completely, or killing him.
Pascal woke up with basically the entirety of the planet's leashes fused to his hand and no way to permanently get rid of even a portion of it (outside of magical biological drugs) without putting all of himself in the crossfire. And technically, even then, all someone needs is the spell Twilight created to bring magic jizz drugs back, cuz his jizz production was never stopped.
Since Pascal isn't itching for suicide or rainbow beams, all he has is his own self control and a lot of worried self reflection.
Quality. A known quality. ;-]

Honestly? I think if he ever got enough 'mana' to actually impose that order, the entire nature of his cosmic imperative would change - from bringing about this malleability, to outright denying it. Something like that would probably drain all of his power, leaving him magicless (or, to put it more aptly: all of his magic - present and future - would, from then on, be consumed to uphold this ideal).
For more information on the idea as a whole, see Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
And I don't think he'd be capable of canceling it, at that point - in fact, his very nature would prevent it, I think. As long as his basic nature is the Prince of Norms, he can push and pull. Once his power was forcibly converted to become the Shield of Mind-Bending though... I think the entire category of possibilities the Sexy Pony Universe has for this sort of thing would be sacrificed to power the repulsion of any such attempt. I think it would just become a law of the Universe that this was not possible.
In fact, here's a yet another proposition for a fairly interesting backstory: Earth doesn't have magic because of such an imperative. Someone, at some point, decided that human magic was no longer benificial to anything, and was just used to corrupt... They found some Ancient Artifact (TM), and imposed an imperative to the effect of "In this Universe, Earthlings possess no magical capability."
In fact, it might've been the one thing that saved Pascal - the fact that he had no innate magic of his own... ;)
As for the whole "addictive jizz" thing... That's always a danger. Celestia could get her hands on it - which would be disastrous to her - but, just the same, somepony with evil motives could get their hands on his sperm and figure out a way to turn it into a drug... or worse: weaponize it. In fact, the fact that they never actually performed a vasectomy (or, rather, never outright destroyed his balls, which would've been the only effective solution) is enough to fuel some nightmares about the possibilities.
I mean - imagine, being able to take over a country simply by lacing the food supply you export there, and then threatening to withhold it. A very similar thing was used as a plot device in Stargate: SG-1, so it's not even new.
Heh. Even his existence is enough to be somewhat worried - yes, coming up with a solution to reproduce this effect synthetically would require a lot of time and effort, but at the low low cost of a piece of Pascal's hair, or some other similar DNA carrier. As long as you have magic, the sky is literally no longer the limit, even... Being able to reproduce the basic processes required to produce sperm out of a DNA sample? Not impossible with enough dedication and resources...
I think it's time Pascal got a spell cast on him to prevent such a thing... and, funnier still, it would probably work just as well as the magic Twilight came up with: have any cell containg genetic material that leaves his body - literally loses contact with it - degrade its genetic payload immediately. I mean, he doesn't need the cells he sheds (discarded skin cells... lost hair... jizz...), so it's not like it'd make a difference to him.
The only problem with this solution is that if he gets hit with a dispel, the active effect goes away - but I think that applies equally to Twilight's spell. Assuming that the change wasn't made to his basic existence, anyway.
Also, MOAR! ;)
Don't leave us hanging at such an interesting point! ;D
Never fails to amuse how the mundane can be so twisted. Also I really love the magical experimentation.

Also, yeah. Probably. And the fact that Napoleon and Hitler both thought it was a good idea to invade Russia in winter is also a real thing... despite there being well over 100 years between the two.
But yeah, just because it's known and recorded doesn't mean you should defend it. Two vs two, I suppose - people using it and it being a recorded turn of the phrase, versus it making little sense and most definitions of the word "quantity" relating to a count. ;]
I think this is the point I've last found the same issue... but now I'm more open to the idea that this whole thing is still very much like method acting - not mind control, not really. The key is in his words, I suppose - the repetition of "this is normal". It makes perfect sense - she's aware that she's acting, it's just making her very happy to play this persona out.
I got hung up a little on understanding this bit the last time, but I think I get it now. With each re-read, I'm finding more and more pieces of the puzzle that is "the Acceptance". At my first read-through it was easy to just take the shallow approach and treat it like any other mind control, perhaps with a catch or two - at least it was convenient whenever I didn't want to focus on it too much. But now that I'm pretty familiar with the events taking place, I can go slowly and actually take the more finely-crafted details in.
