A few days ago I finished daring do and the final crusade, it was awesome,daring had to travel to the ancient ruins of

Cloud Chaser, Blue Feather and I
Today was normal, me, Cloud Chaser and Blue Feather got the winds and clouds ready for the shower on the north side of

Ponyville on sunday. Went out a got some food, I couldnt get any straw berrys, Apple Jack said they wont be for harvest until

Dear diary,

'entries' mistake I just made
I read the two other entrys entries, the spelling and capital letters and stuff was crumby like the one just before so I fixed

them, I also put in the day because putting in Sunday and not putting in the day of the entry is sorta confusing. We all went out to

the park for a pet play date today, it was good fun, I think Tank is more friends with Owlowiscious then some of the other pets,

maybe because they can both fly, I dont know. Opal pounced on a load of ducks and fell into the lake, Rarity kept trying to get

Dear diary,

I've messed around with the 'Dear diary' and made you look a bit cooler. Today Twilight made a surprise call, I always

forget that she can use her freaky magic to walk on clouds, she came in to have a look at you and she showed me mistakes I

there should be any more. Twilight and I had our lunch and then the egghead used a spell to make my fly twice as fast, it was

radical! But when I tried out my super speed strut I tripped on a tree root and messed up my chin, it's all grazed, bloody and It

September 6th, Friday; 6:34 pm

Dear diary,

calling on

I brought Tank over to stay with Fluttershy because 'I had a ton of work to get through'. Starting at eight in the morning, with

a favour from Snowflake and Blue Feather, we built a new extension onto my house in just under seven hours. Tank was so

tie up some paper work for the week
exited when he came home to his very own GARDEN PASTURE IN THE SKY! I still have to write up some paper for the week

of work and prepare for next week but I don't mind, just seeing Tank happy is better then all the paid work in Equestria,

especially after what Fluttershy told me. Fluttershy said that he was moving slower than usual, like, slow for a tortoise, and

when she is prepared to do some checks on him
that's already really slow. She wants me to bring him down on Sunday so she can have some checks ready, she had seven

hours and all so I don't see how she couldn't have done it then, I mean how much time does it take to care for animals? I guess

Fluttershy will do as Fluttershy does. On the bright side, she did say that Tank was a lot happier than he used to be and not just

got to because all the other animals are so demanding,
because he could see some of his old friends. She said she couldn't really pay attention to him, and that I must be really

nice to him, and what can I say? I am an awesome pet owner.

Entry six: September 7th, Saturday; 6:25 pm

Dear diary,

I've decided that I should spice up some of the entries, some of them have confusing sentences and are a little short. Only

can't
lameos use crumby sentences, and if the world's best athlete cant make good use of words who can? I'm also going to try and

use more fitting words, like fitting, I'm no librarian so don't expect anything spectacular, diary, but the entries will be a little

better. Tank's new pen is big enough, about the size of my room, most of it is grass but there are a few small flower beds and

a bush in the centre, a tree would have been too heavy and too hard to get up anyway, not that Tank couldn't climb it and all.

But I'm pretty sure he likes it, he's been spending a lot of time in it at least. Twilight was asking me if I had given up on the diary

yet and I just couldn't help but laugh, I can handle writing, just look at me now! We had a good laugh about it in the end, her

saying that I don't always have to prove myself to everypony. Having a day off from practical work was relaxing, I got some

serious practice in today, I managed six rolling loop-de-loops in a row without breaking a sweat. Sometimes I think I should try

some old fashioned tricks instead of trying to make my own up, my own can be really hard and all but sometimes they just

don't look good, I'd say the Wonder Bolts appreciate the technical stuff more than the fashion shows though, I don't think they'd

be up for another one of Rarity's routines. I was planning on hanging out with Pinkie Pie but she had to help the Cakes prepare

for a wedding and she will be at the wedding tomorrow, bit of a bummer but I can't complain if it's a wedding. I finished up the

productive
weather report for August and sent it off to Cloudsdale, today felt a little more producktive than other days.

Entry seven: Ninth day in September, Monday; 1:08 am

Dear diary,

Sorry for the late entry, this was meant for Sunday and I will do an entry properly for today. Nothing bad happened, just

at the beginning
Fluttershy forgetting she had plans, I'll explain in a second. Today was normal, for the start, at least. I made myself some

pancakes with honey, can't beat 'em. Rarity asked me to come over to the spa, I didn't want to but she pointed out that I owed

her for not getting her a birthday present, which I so a lie, I was in Las Pegasus at the time and I forgot. I went anyway, it was

relaxing and all but I didn't like it, Ah hay, no one's going to read this, the messages at the spa are amazing, but I still don't like

the hooficures and girly stuff. Twilight caught me just before I went home to get Tank so we could go over to Fluttershy's, she

said that the week is over and if I really don't like you that I can give you back, I put it straight that she isn't ever going to get you

just as Tank and I left
back. So it started to rain around three O' clock, when Tank and I just went out, it was awesome flying through the rain. Usually I

do it alone but it's so much awesomer with Tank because he can do some tricks too. We raced through Ponyville to

Fluttershy's house with the wind in our faces and the rain on our backs, and neither of us would slow down, we were like a rain

racing tricksters! When we got to Fluttershy's house she told us to come back later, at like eight, because she forgot to tell me

that her parents were coming over. We kinda had to say OK, she looked really stressed out and all. We went to the pet store

and I got Tank a new toy, a small little red ball, and we went to the park. It was still raining, and of course no other pony was

out, we didn't care though because we're too awesome to care about the rain. The red ball stuck off him like a sore thumb so it

helped to see him but I still lost sight of him a few times, I thought he fell into the river at one stage and he wouldn't have been

able to get out, even with his chopper. Maybe I did throw a few freakers too far but I was only trying to look out for him and all.

The rain stopped as we were returning home, we still had to laze around for another hour or so though, we got back to

Fluttershy's cottage at half past eight or something. Fluttershy told me that to do all the checks would take a while, I didn't mind.

I waited around for a good three hours, it was boring, I guess all the animals jumping around and doing funny stuff made it

bearable. When she was done, Fluttershy said he's one of the healthiest tortoises she's ever seen for his age, and smiling

the whole time, but then told me something I really didn't want to hear, she said he wasn't sick but he was getting old. He was

old when I first got him, no doubt, but I never really thought about it. She said that even though some tortoise can live to be

up and around two-hundred years old, and even though his health is really good, that I will outlive Tank. She said there is

nothing better to do other than love him, I just wish I could give him some of my years, or something like that, just something

so that we can spend more time together.

Rainbow Dash put down her quill and diary, being careful not to damage any of the precious pages. A blue moonlight came through the window, landing softly on the sleeping tortoise. Rainbow scratched him on his neck, between the head and shell, kissed him lightly on the nose, shed one tear, and pulled the covers up to her shoulders. Tank stirred only a bit, only to slowly nuzzle a little closer to the pegasus, and slowly grow his smile a little bigger.

Pretty good, my only gripe is that the inserts were misaligned, and that made it difficult to find were they belonged. Also, near the end, you may want to clear up the issues with Tank's health. I can't understand a word of it besides "I will outlive Tank."

This sounds enough like Dash that I now fear someone will attempt Pinkie Pie's diary.

Still, I love the premise: they'd already made a reader out of her, so why not a writer? And, subtly enough, she shifts from merely recounting events to addressing more personal matters. It's almost too bad this is a one-shot.

The lines might be miss aligned because you're reading on the 'normal' or 'big' text setting. I'll make the health stuff a little clearer and keep it as Rainbow Dash-ish as possible, which might take a while because once I change something everything will become out of place and the lines and blah blah blah blah blah .
