I really liked the story, but the huge spaces between sentences made it a pain to read on mobile.
Miss Priss does fit as another name for Opal.
My brother once had a cat named Miss Priss. She was a long-hair grey cat.
She lived to be over 20. (I don't quite recall how much over 20. It has been a few years since she passed.)
You know had I thought of it, Fluttershy can talk to animals (DUH!). I could really have fun with that one. I might just do that, it would drive Rarity nuts if Fluttershy teased her about what Opal told her about Rarity and Spike.
