This story is a sequel to Nore's Choice : The Salvation and Origin of the Rom

Part 2 of the Origin of the Rom

Guided by Marchhare, the donkey, Rom's band of horses enters Equestria. Coming from the now long vanished desert kingdom of Gyptia, fleeing a famine, Equestria almost seems a paradise. Meeting ponies for the first time they find that most are good but many in positions of power are greedy. The band of Rom sets up at their fist Fair.

Haha! A wonderful outing! :rainbowlaugh:

Good writing, good characters! :raritystarry:

Well done you handsome fellow! :rainbowdetermined2:

And another good story, have my usual issues with the style and the racism that we've gone on about, but here, it's not that bad, and being made clear, at first, it's just a small group of assholes that aren't being tolerated once their idiocy is revealed, then the fair.... ehhh it's not to bad, but it's more in just how stupid they are being about and how blatantly over the top it is at times about it that rubs me the wrong way. But like we've discussed it's a standard thing between how we view Equestria, still a great story, and the set up for the fair was really good, wish I could go to one of their fairs, sounds amazing.

Not going to get into a comment war but I have known humans that despite lacking hooves and wings could have been Ground Nests brothers. when ever they were caught doing something it was "just a joke", "Not my fault"," I didn't mean it to happen" and so forth. As to trying to run the Rom out of town for " taking all the business". Just talk to some old time carnies about that.

Thanks for the back up. It just happens that the Rom are adapted from real Romani that I have personally known. I had to make many changes to make them fit any form of the MLP universe.
