Blue Cloud Blues

T

Dungeons and Dragons and Ponies - oh, Celestia.

In her old masterwork book, the most well-loved bard in Equestrian history compiled every poem, song, and story in her repertoire, including the only reliable and detailed account written of the lives of a notorious team of six adventurers. Found to have left her hooves sometime in the last few years of her life, that one copy has since been thought of along the lines of the ambitious bard's Philosopher's Stone, and so now that it has finally been recovered, the two holding it have no worries about the value the Book of Lyra itself will cash in for - what remains to be seen is what extra surprises there are to be had out of the information in it first.

I'd be glad to be told what's wrong or off already, from whoever disliked or anyone else who would or simply has anything else to say.

The description of the story may be the only major fault; it doesn't tell us much about the story, and it was not eye-catching at all, really. But you can't take my word as pure truth; I dabble in the genres most don't dare look at because they're afraid of Sues and ponifications, and my descriptions aren't great either. (Yep, I write the scum of the site: BiEs.) But that's not the point. I like the start, the description's where your problem lies, evidently. I see nothing wrong with this fic, myself, except for extremely minor spelling errors in places.

Ha, no genre of story is bad inherently. But anyway, make a point of writing more of a selling description, then, and on the note of genres, I suppose, watch myself in the way I frame and handle use of OC ponies while I'm at it. Taken to heart and appreciated greatly. Thank you again for your time in having a look and for your two cents, and your approval so far.

Honored that you say so - thank you!
