I am a wee bit confused. You leave this with a cliffhanger yet the fic says "complete". Do you plan on continuing it? As far as I see all changelings were imprisoned after that encounter. Surely that is not so fair is it? I mean wouldn't Chrysalis and some of her subordinates just be enough?
It does leave questions for us to ponder. How long will the hive wait, and what sort of intentions will they have when the wait is over.
Will the hive seek vengeance against the ponies of Equestria? Maybe Chrysalis will be long gone by then and seen as a fool for warring with the ponies? Maybe the future generations of changelings will seek peace and to live with ponies?
5619474 I put it as Complete mainly because I have currently no intentions of writing more on this particular storyline. I thought it would be rather rude to hint that there might be more with an "incomplete" tag if I had no plans to make more of it. As it's now it's just meant to show that the hive isn't -dead-, even if it is defeated.
As for those who were imprisoned, in this case it would be because that is what Chrysalis would want. They'd be fed, 'safe', and gathered. From the ponies point of view they'd all be enemy combatants, thought it is unsure if they'd all be behind bars for as long as Chrysalis. It's really meant to be an open question of what happens after this point.
