Well you shouldn't hate yourself, let me explain. If you had picked some random pony that you made up, like for example Amberlocks, it wouldn't quite be the same story, because we've all got to know Fluttershy, and learned that she is the cutest and the most caring pony. That's why no one would want her to get hurt in any way, and that's what made the story so sad and so beautiful. I do believe that Fluttershy would do exactly what she did in this story so she fitted in perfectly. I think that it was neccesary for Fluttershy to be the, sorry for saying, victim in this story. Without her, the story wouldn't be as perfect as it is. I'm not saying that it's GOOD that Fluttershy was the victim, because she's one of my favorite also. So don't feel bad about doing this to Fluttershy, because it was the, sadly enough, correct choice.

Is it bad that this story made me laugh my ass off?
Despite the tragic content, the way it's written makes everyone seem like they're either melodramatic whiners, or completely batshit insane. Because of that, and all the fail logic moments, I just couldn't take this seriously at all. It's like it's taking place in some alternate reality where sanity and logic have no place.
I'm not saying this out of meanness.
Why are we fighting over "hurting" somepony? The author didn't hurt anypony, he or she was just writing one of those "what if" fics. It's not like this fic made othe creators of the show actually kill or hurt Fluttershy in the canon world. I love these fics, these fics that are full of emotion caused by non-canon things. It's simply the way of fanfiction.

Anticipated the 2nd season, watched the premier, and rejoiced.(Sept '11-?)
Heard of fimfiction and checked out a story out of boredom. Looking specifically for a Fluttershy one. (Late April '12)
