There the dragon stood, looking down at his new friend, a dragon which happened to be his favourite prey. And there stood the pony, which had been taught to always run away from a dragon to avoid becoming one's lunch. Despite their instincts, they were caught in a drop-dead silence.

1) did you mean dragon or pony on that first bold?

2) favourite or favorite? only noticed when I copied it to quote.

but I don't let an error or 2 ruin a story for me. It's looking good so far.
