Tiger|Pony

E

What's it like to fly?

Commander Hurricane knows, and in this famous extract from Mere Player's Winter of Discontent, she lays out the hurt in her hate-filled heart, and epitomises a view of ponykind which we must be glad to see consigned to history.

(An entry for EQD WTG #4, with some fun stuff tacked onto the end because otherwise the whole thing was just too much a bloody downer).

You are an astonishing writer. The art of this, the rhythm and music, the beautiful, inspirational rhetoric on skin-crawling themes-- all of them just about as masterful as the role of that windigo. And I'm intrigued by the backstory as well (and further astonished by how much of it you packed into one author's note). Commander Hurricane and the others are killed for their sins? I really want to read the rest of this play now. :derpytongue2:

I loved That Sunlit Glow as well, and I'm so glad to see you writing here once more.

Aww, thanks. Most of my writing is theatrical in nature, sketches and the like, but occasionally I get pony in the brain, and even more occasionally I work up the courage to put it up.

I made some mistakes publishing That Sunlit Glow (mostly putting it all up at once because I couldn't stand the 24-hour wait to upload chapters). I'm not completely happy with it now, but it's done, y'know?

Thanks for the kind words. They are, of course, writer-food
