The fact that Metamorphosis hesitated is revealing of the changelings. As such, here are two questions that stem from this:
1) Are all changelings innocent from birth, and are just corrupted by the rest of society?
2) How strong is familial loyalty in the changelings, if there even is such a thing in their society?
I'm going to scream if I don't find out what happens next.
