So just checking, is this AU's changelings love consumption wholly parasitic? What I mean by that is that their feeding is always harmful to the target, regardless of circumstances.
Most stories seem to allow that love freely given, or given after knowing and accepting the changeling, will negate the "life drain" effect of stolen love.

Ponies can spread it around, opening kind of their souls.
A changeling can connect to it and receive all love from it, in the worst case until the soul is drained,
no feels remained.

5768107 can and should. Most surviving societies exhibit certain tendencies of which others also exhibit. For instance, a secret society tends not to reveal their members without cause. I don't really believe your changelings are so far removed from the stereotypes that they're not relatable. Were it so, they would have found infiltration a much more daunting task.

Well, she never knew what they were hiding. She could've assumed everything. And while the next two chapters are quite happy, chapter thirteen will... surprise surprise...
...I'm... Confused. For one thing, you had all this buildup saying that our little Changeling will be affaired with Berry, and then you just turn it around and she falls for a changeling (Something she supposedly despises) and one thats assaulted her more than once.
I know stockholm syndrome exists but it's usually in people that aren't abused or given a reason to hate.

You should add more focus on the parts in between the lines.
More than once I pointed out why Aurora is feeling what she feels and why she is doing what she does.
It may only be small things, but they all add to a whole new complete. The night that is explained in the side-story also helped boosting the feels by a good lvl.
