After an inexplicable blast, Applebloom wakes in the hospital to a silent - and mostly emptied - Ponyville. Perplexed and virtually alone, Applebloom must plunge into a perilous rescue mission to find the lost citizens – a task that leads her into the most feared of places in all of Equestria: The Everfree Forest. But the forest is forever distorted – and for Applebloom, it’s safe to say that it isn't for the better.
