...just, what was the point of all this? There is no point. It's a giant friggin' shaggy dog story.

Despondent rage.

You've written this well. I've stomached it so far. That you managed to get me to react, and so negatively...

Well good job! It's certainly dark.

this is a good story, but will there be a sequel?

4118333 First off, the difference between a magazine and a clip is that a magazine is removable/detachable, whereas a clip's only purpose is to keep the bullets held together until they enter the weapon. An example would be the M14 vs the M24. They use the same rounds, but the M14 has a magazine holding the bullets together in a certain position (diagonally stacked). The M24's ammunition however is on a rail (I think) and they enter the chamber as a clip, but the built-in magazine holds them once they are in the gun.
The rounds for any revolver is a clip, you can Google images of it if you don't believe me. But once they are put into the chamber the clip is no longer needed, and is usually pocketed (or discarded by stupid people) and the bullets are kept in place by the revolver technology built inside of the weapon, which (I think) is a built-in magazine working off of revolver technology.
If you wish, I can also teach you about: thrown, shot, and launched grenades; shotgun shells; homemade explosives; and most other types of weapons/weapon designs.
The more you know...

Liked the story, though I wished there was more appearances from the mane 6. I am quite surprised at this gloomy ending though.

5526981 Thanks for saying so. Truth be told I was sort of testing the waters with this one. When I wrote this I wasn't really sure where I was going (as an amateur--at best--fanfic author) and this was probably the biggest step I took in my current direction. There was a bit more I wanted to do with this one but because of my 80HD (lulzor im sooooo fune!!1!) and a few non-pony related distractions I either had to wrap it up or abandon it for a while. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Positive comments like yours are what keeps me going.
I was planning on making a second part that continued in said gloomy ending, but it's pretty low on my list of priorities for future things on this site.

You know those were great answers except they never got any
