I used to have to keep on working during the night (and the day after that, and the night after that) when in the military. Not the best memories I have, but at least I know it's possible (wouldn't recommend it though).

Yeah, I tried it and it wasn't exactly "fun" but it is possible. One question though: were you allowed to drink coffee and if so how many did you drink?

I actually don't drink coffe at all. I don't really like the taste. We were allowed coffee though, if we were to bring it ourself. I was more driven by the fact I had some (but very few) responsibilities on my shoulders to keep on working.
Note: what I couldn't handle to the very end was the fact I couldn't trust my superiors. Let's just say that "the wonderbolt academy" probably speaks to me in a slightly different way than to most. (or not, I don't know what the others have lived)
