An old Writeoff entry that I remembered I had. I figured I'd knock it into shape and publish it. It's only been, what, six years? Barely a blink of an eye.

Some six hundred years after the banishment of Nightmare Moon, something as amiss in Canterlot. It began quietly, abruptly… and undeniably. A creeping corruption, a slow dimming of the light. None could say why, how… even what was difficult to assess. But a wrongness grows in the capital and the princess.

Now comes the awkward question of who, if anypony, is going to do anything about it.
