The Writeoff is a Fimfiction-hosted competition for both FiM and original fiction writers alike. It is usually hosted every two-four weeks depending on if Roger wants to or not.
I have competed in this competition in the past. Haven't done so well.
And when I mean haven't done well...
I mean not well at all.

Another update for the Lunbra contest~
Due to one of the judges resigning, there is now a new judge. NorrisTheSpooky/Pony/Faget will be judging for the contest as well as submitting an honorary entry.
1) You call the genre tags 'skittle labels' or gods forbid 'flavors'
2) You have tried to hug an author at least once
3) You are entirely sure you have judged a single piece of cover art more than you judge your own family
4) Sleep is for the weak but you take this to new extremes
5) You have become so desperate for green thumbs that you will disregard human life and mulititate gardeners in the name of writing trophies
6) You make these lists

So, in addition to writing about ponies, I love to read about them too! It's a virtuous circle – I read, get a cool idea, then shamelessly repurpose it in my own fics!
So, like, theft, I guess. But imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Today we're going to read about an author I intend to steal ideas from admire: NorrisThePony.
Chapter one of the re-write is ready to go. Crystalline is born anew, the writing is no longer that bad. Old readers and new readers may rejoice while the editor cowers from all the words to be edited. The quality is now that of Tomb Of Magic and there's all sorts of new things if you're new to the story or wanting to re-read it. I really hope you guys like it and read all the crazy sequels if you do. Be sure to comment and upvote all those things.

I’ve been a bit lax of late on reading new stories as they go up on FIMFiction; the first story in this set went up on my birthday, more than two weeks ago, and I think the latest was up several days ago. Still, better late than never, right?
Though maybe not in something called read it now. Apparently this is more read it nowish.
