O Most Wonderful of Nights · 11:44pm Nov 24th, 2016

Now that you have sated yourselves upon the flesh of fowl and the blood of grapes, brethren (or just your regular dinner), allow me to share with you a most wondrous event. A highly talented and respected warrior of the spoken word, TheDizzyDan, has undertaken a live reading of my most recent story, My Final Confession: Vengeance.

A little advice · 4:32pm Nov 4th, 2021

Don't underestimate or overestimate an opponent. Be present, aware, and find the right amount of confidence to help you without only focusing on winning and don't give up.

A thought · 3:28pm Sep 23rd, 2018

When we are child we subconsciously deny everything bad that happens around us.

When we were teenager we are often angry at everyone and everything around us.

When we are young adults we're always bargaining and fighting for what we want and what we believe should be right.

When we hit mid age many people feel depressed by the reality of how the world is and that we cannot do anything about it.

Random writer's thought #1 · 3:12am Jan 26th, 2020

Please note this post does not apply to simply my story (singular as of this date) on this site. If I think this much about my writing of a slapped together romance that partially involves graphic interspecies intercourse and [words removed due to their graphic nature and detailed accounts of bodily positions] then I need more therapy than I imagine. Anyway, onto the post!

You have to admit · 10:30pm Jul 24th, 2015

For an evil war-crazed nazi cyborg commanding a battalion of vampire panzergrenadiers he does make a damn good point

Over the top animeness aside, he is right about one thing. It is our soul and will that make us human. If we forsake those for power and other such tempting offers, we are little more than hollow fragments of what we once were.

Happy Thanksgiving! Musings, Wishing Wells, and Philosophizing. · 9:28am Nov 24th, 2022

Let me start by saying, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It’s my favorite holiday. The food is great, the reasons to celebrate and come together are great, and I love the overall decor and theme of this season. It’s a time for unity and hearty meals. It is a time to count our blessings and give thanks for what we forget to be thankful for throughout the rest of the year.

Feeling better. Finding purpose. Doing good. · 10:55pm Oct 4th, 2022

False Knees made this one a while ago, and ever since I began writing more about my Kindled series, I’ve been feeling it stronger and stronger.

How aimless it felt trudging through life without that something in it... And how much purpose it’s been giving me to create the story.

The question of: How much do we give of ourselves until it's enough? · 7:05pm Feb 12th, 2023

I wrote this story as a bit of an introspective look to myself and my history with the pursuit of being a good person.

I also wrote it for a friend who is having a crisis of faith with feeling like they're letting their audience down by not continuing their work, which for all intents and purposes is free content for said audience.

Odd Fascinations · 1:43pm Apr 13th, 2017

I love art in many forms. I admit I find it difficult to appreciate works such as 'Voice of Fire' but some of that comes from not knowing the artist's intent behind the piece. I personally don't derive anything from it, but perhaps if I had the perspective and knowledge of what the artist was trying to convey, I might have a different opinion.

I'm leading to the fact that I often find strange works of art beautiful. In this case, carved citrus peels. Hear me out.

I don't know how Harry Potter and Star Wars were allowed to coexist, but the fic's done. Congrats.

This first riff of the new decade puts to rest (for now) "Three of Me: School Society." At long last, we can move the fuck ON.

This week is a "celebration" of the end of the Skywalker Saga with a cringefest of a crossover. Good fucking luck, y'all.

200 Followers: That's a Lot of People · 9:04pm Sep 15th, 2016

It is. It really, really is.

I mean, you don't really think about it, do you? We spend so long clicking in and out of stuff where we can see that people have thousands, millions of followers and subscribers, and suddenly a million becomes the new benchmark of excellence. Some channels, you won't even look at them if they've got under a thousand subscribers. Because it all just becomes a number.
