Hey, readers and followers. I am finally back! I have an explanation. Recently, 2015 ended and with it the most emotionally horrendous year of mine and my family's life. We lost someone very dear to us and our family dog. Combined with my money woes and very big problems regarding writers block, I've not been able to write much. Maybe it's just because the MLP stop-motion shorts lowered my expectations, but so far I think Pony Life is okay. I wouldn't call it good, but at least it doesn't directly insult older fans the way Thundercats Roar does (or so I've heard). Suffice it to say that I was generally very pleased with the first episode of His Dark Materials, which went out on BBC1 a few hours ago and will appear in other places on HBO tomorrow (Monday). Yup. Finally working on a new Pony-Me chapter to add to the stockpile, though there's I think two or three chapters ahead of it to be published still.

Anyway, this thing's gonna be an expansion on the road trip arc of the old Pony-Me. Since this fic overall has been a bit more lighthearted, especially without the old Pinkie/Samantha dynamic, I feel like it'd be fitting to have the road trip double as Samantha's excuse to go on vacation. :V
