I'm sorry to be the barer of bad news but i can't finish the chapter by Sunday as i have been trying for the most part. Work has been insanely busy, as well as my depression playing up with a vengeance a.t.m. has left be unable to write properly in between having to emergency patch the software we produce at 01:00 in the morning and emotional outbursts from the littlest bit of drama i am writing this chapter...

The chapter should be up in the course of next week though.

Okay, so I'm lazy, and not particularly competent.

Sorry folks, I'm going to be moving house in the next couple of weeks which means my ability to work on The King & Shy will be severely limited. This month's updates are going to be a little sparse due to these circumstances but I promise I will try and find some time to do some writing in between boxing everything up and my full time job. Hello all my wonderful fans and anypony else who happens to be reading this! I hope you all had a great Nightmare Night? Mine was fun. Did my regular Queen Chrysalis cosplay outfit with a few minor changes and helped out with a Trunk-or-Treat program. (We ended up handing out candy to over 2500 people! One of those in our group counted everyone that participated and, including adults, there were around 4800 people that came to the event!)

So... you ever come up for an idea for a chapter that seemed like a good idea, then spend ages writing it only to realize that:

1) The main conflict isn't enough for a full length chapter so you've run out of material after only 2k words, and you can't stretch that conflict out without make the dialogue incredibly repetitive or making characters hold the idiot ball.

2) It makes no sense for this particular character to have this particular problem in the first place.

Okay, so first of all, after getting my wisdom teeth out, I really haven't had any kind of drive to write.

Second of all, I've got two essays due by the end of this week for my early college program, and I think I'd rather focus first on those than on stories, even if I would much rather write stories at the moment.

Either way, I'm probably gonna focus on getting both essays (4 pages and 8-10 pages required) written and finished first before anything else.

Hey guys this is a bit of an update for you. I haven't been feeling too well the last couple weeks, and last Tuesday my friend ended up in the hospital from a stroke that I had to help them with. So really I haven't had any time to actually write. I do apologize for this and I really wish I could have been writing more. Hopefully I'll get back to writing soon, but right now I've got a lot of other things that have been keeping me from actually doing anything with the story.
