Hot Dam - Chapter 3 delays · 1:48am Mar 1st, 2017
Okay, so I'm lazy, and not particularly competent.
Probably not the best, or most inspiring way to open up a blog, but Honesty is important.
I had intended to get Hot Dam - Ch3 out by March 4th, birthday present from me to you guys.
It's not happening, due to a mix of the Christmas blues, new computer tech fouling, actually being able to play current gen games on a GTX-1070, after using a Radeon HD5500 for the last 7 years, several outside projects. work, and what I'm calling my complete inability to compress my writing.
Most of the written part of Chapter 3 was supposed to be the end of Chapter 2 in my planning stages, but it's currently taking up 4.8K words, and still has a good few scenes left in it.
I'm going to put my nose to the grindstone while I can, and try to bash out what's left before April begins, but, I'm lazy and my muse thinks I'm not worth the time of day.
In other news "Pillars of Eternity" is fucking awesome if you're into CRPG's, as is "Grim Dawn" if you're into ARPG's. Go play while I slave away at my keyboard.
Well do what you feel is right for the story. I'd rather have a good chapter rather a half assed rushed hack job. Also real life always takes precedence so don't feel pressured to do something that interferes with your life to a degree that you begin to hate it. Just my two cents. I do like your story by the way.
