I'm frankly burning out on Friendship is Magic as a series. I've never been a fan of sitcoms, especially Aesop-driven ones meant for children. They tend to run out of material at some point, and the delivery of the morals gets rather repetitive. I especially hate the "lose to win" cliche as no one in their right mind would accept the terms the story provides without exhausting their options. I've also grown tired of the characters and their increasingly one-note personality the writers have

And as Pinkie Pie told Twilight Sparkle way back in 'Green Isn't Your Colour,' there's no faster way to lose a friend's trust than to break a promise and share her or his secret.
Well, secrets are what this episode is about.
Or one secret in particular.
One which, in the audience's case, was at least partially spoiled in the merch ages ago. The secret in question?

So, no fancy. I'm just in a night of writing, and thought again of this because of spell power and fiction. Not going to do complicated research. Just by memory:
First off: Nothing conclusive that Starlight Glimmer is more powerful than Twilight.
Spoilers. Obviously.
Nature of magic.
First off, Celestia can move the sun. Does it make her more or as powerful as the sun? Probably not.
Now, I like The Clone Wars TV series, and I'm still griping about how shitty Disney was when they cancelled it, but I do like Revenge of the Sith, because Anakin goes full maniac later on in the movie, and the dumb love story, eh.
Although, sometimes I do wonder how different the prequel movies would've been if George didn't surround himself with Yes Men, eh.

So, after Tender Taps, the CMC have finally gotten themselves a new client. Why aren't there more episodes like this one? I'm more interested in seeing the Crusaders tackle Cutie Mark problems than building go-carts or selling prank cookies.
Since her introduction in season 4, Maud Pie has made at least one appearance in every season, and every single one of those appearances is stronger than the last. By season 6's "The Gift of the Maud Pie," the writers had grown comfortable with subtly suggesting her emotions, and here, they've gone a step further and fleshed out her flaws and anxieties. She is rapidly becoming one of the absolute best characters in the entire show because of this, which makes it all the more disappointing that
Episode 5 - Fluttershy Leans In "Fluttershy is determined to make her career dreams come true with the help of some very special ponies. But when her true vision is not being executed properly, she must find a way to stand up and fight for her ideas."
Episode 6 - Forever Filly "When Rarity surprises Sweetie Belle with a special day together filled with all of her favorite activities, she quickly learns that her little sister is no longer the little foal she used to be."
This episode was an interesting one. The description had me expecting a fairly boring episode that I'd watch, give a 3/5 to, and forget about fairly quickly. So really, it was a pleasant surprise that I enjoyed this one as much as I did. It was fun.
Not much to talk about since there's not much to critique, but here are some thoughts:
