Good morning, everyone. Sorry that it's been a long time since I've done Villain Critique. My laziness and being sidetracked got the better of me.
Anyway, here I am, again, with a new critique today. But before I do that, let's go over the rules:
I did a list mentioning G5's villains almost half a year ago, And after what happened in "Secrets of Starlight", this list needed to be updated to reflect some newcomers. But did anything else major change? Well, let's find out. If you're curious, you can see the original version here. And remember, this is just my personal opinion.

Hello, everyone. Good to see you all. After everything that's happened recently, I just got bored and overwhelmed and wanted to do something different that might keep both me and others entertained and relieve this stress if needed.
This is a brand-new blog concept that I like to call: Villain Critique. As the title suggests, I get to type a review of any of mine and/or others' favorite villain(s) and what I personally think of them as a whole.
"Auntie Chrysalis! I'm so astonished and perplexed... How do, actually, changelings change?"
She scoffed. "What a dull question. With our magic, of course!"
"Yes, but I mean, how exactly it happens? Is it a learned power or is it innate? Where it comes from, anyway? Do you imagine something when changing, and if so, then in how much detail? Are there even any limits? <...>"
So, obviously, I haven't exactly been the busiest guy on this site of late. This is largely because I find it hard to concentrate on personal work while having to work on student work. Like what, you may ask? Like this!
That answer is easy and simple (for me at least).
The best villain is clearly Chrysalis (I know some might disagree, but she's one of the most backstory villains we have as in lack of it, sort of).
Hello Everyone,
Northern Chaos33 here giving you guys a quick update
So, as some of you have noticed, I've been gone for awhile. The reasons being that I: (A) Had two midterm tests, and (B) I've been sick, so sick that I can't write. Luckily, I completed the tests, and passed thankfully, and I am feeling better. Now, I am almost finished with the next chapter for "Playing the Villain" so that will come out this weekend. "A New Wheel" will also come out this weekend.
Early back in October, I ended up winning a writing contest. I (somehow) won, and I managed to get Notus, the fiery griffon from chapter four of Aileron, done in art form.
There's a week left in the contest... but a surprising number of people seemed to have missed the memo on the thing in the first place. Seriously, this turned out to be a Wallflower-grade announcement. Given how many people I've seen come in from links on entrants, I'm strongly considering extending the deadline to either the 15th or the 22nd to give everyone an extra weekend or two. Which would
It has been far too long since I have written anything on this website. Life just got in the way, plus I had no idea how I wanted to end this story, but then I had an epiphany while in the shower. With the idea in mind I will hopefully be presenting the final chapters to the Villain Story in the next few days. Afterwards, I will be creating a brand new story that takes place in the same universe.
Hi, everyone. This is Joker... with some bad news.
I regret to let you all know that the next Legion of Doom story Ego Fight is cancelled. I unfortunately am all out of ideas for the Treacherous Trio as I have used up what I thought would not only be fun but also fix some of the glaring issues I had with the season 9 finale such as the Grogar twist. Don’t get me wrong, I love those villains even Grogar himself, but I honestly have ran my course with them.
Thanks to Theatroid for his fanart.
Sorry for the lateposting. It's been a hectic couple of months.
Countess Magnifying Glass Pre- and Post- Villainous Breakdown
Hi chaps.
As you know, the recurring and most dangerous villain in my fimfics is the mercenary leader, Cascadius. I have never, to this day, described his appearance in order to keep a sense of mystery about him.
I was preparing to finally describe him later in the fic when the Mane 6 first confront him in person but part of me's afraid the suspense is dragging on too long. Does anyone want him described sooner?
I have finished an illustration if you really can't wait.
"Hello children...Can I play too?"
What is it with me and terrifying mutations of ponies?
This is Morlock, son of Marephistallion.
If you think he's bad wait till you see his father.
Or rather, wait till you see what his father does to others!

Still remember my reaction when I saw this for the first time.
