Y'know...I often have days, much more now than ever, where I feel just like Clark in that first panel. I hear all these stories of tragedy and suffering, I look around and I see a world in agony, and it just hurts.
We need people like Superman. Not for his powers, but for his heart. His desire to help. To just be a genuinely good person.
Chapter 3 of Stallion of Tomorrow has been completed! Now ordinarily I'd post it the next day, but due to class scheduling this week, I'm gonna go ahead and release it today at around 3 PM EST.

Oooh boy... I am late to this one again. I'll be honest, I had zero plans to watch this, but I decided to anyway, cause, well, I need something to review. I'm keeping myself busy by watching movies to review in between my activities and work.
This is a comic that I've been wanting to get my hands on for a while now, and I'm glad I did. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that out of the three post-Crisis Superman origin stories, this one is by far my favorite, Secret Origin and John Byrne's Man of Steel miniseries coming in second and third place respectively.
One one hand, Superman is the ultimate socialist fantasy. It's all about the person with power wanting to help their community without expecting anything in exchange. And in the reverse, it's something he choses to do. It's not out of guilt from not saving his father from death, nor out of fear from what happened to the world he lost, nor some kind of quasi-religious allegory (though there are some mythical elements to the concept). Overall, Superman is simply a very strong guy who just helps

At long last, Season 1 of Superman & Lois is finished...man, that felt satisfying. Bad guys get what's coming, heroes come out on top even after the hell they've been put through, broken relationships mended. Left on a cliffhanger, but at least this one doesn't immediately bode ill.
Loving the animation style and character designs. Looking forward to having a new animated Superman series. Fingers crossed! xD

After much hemming and hawing over whether or not I should buy this thing, I finally bit the bullet and got it. Initial thoughts...
Had to leave a plug for this. This show is amazing, and easily the best modern Superman thing in the live-action department. I cannot believe I live in a world where we have a Superman show this good. Let's hope it stays soaring high.
