We've gotten official word that the Superman: Legacy, now retitled simply Superman, is now filming...and we've got our first look at the new Superman's symbol!
Y'know...I often have days, much more now than ever, where I feel just like Clark in that first panel. I hear all these stories of tragedy and suffering, I look around and I see a world in agony, and it just hurts.
We need people like Superman. Not for his powers, but for his heart. His desire to help. To just be a genuinely good person.

Wow.
I love it because it explores the sheer depth of Superman and how even if he was here today, he couldn't save everything. He genuinely wants to help, but when his best efforts aren't enough, what's the point of trying? Superman defies that question and keeps on going anyway, and in the process inspires us to be a little more like him.
