New Superman Movie now in production! · 10:20pm February 29th
We've gotten official word that the Superman: Legacy, now retitled simply Superman, is now filming...and we've got our first look at the new Superman's symbol!
So it looks like it's true that they're going with a Kingdom Come-style logo, and while I'll admit to being skeptical-yet-cautiously optimistic, I'm actually really happy with how it looks, really like that they gave it a yellow background and outline.
It's gonna be a looong road to July 2025, but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie and keeping fingers crossed hard as possible that it's good and ends up being what I've been hoping for from a Superman movie for a long time now...and who knows, maybe I'll even have Stallion of Tomorrow finished just in time to celebrate.

Here's hoping that the final product is good, for sure. 
I hope they skip the whole "here is their origin story again" trope they have been doing for years now. I'm also highly skeptical about the movie as I don't think they have yet to properly portray his human side other than a few flashes in Man of Steel recently outside of comic books. But, then again, I'm not much of a comic nut in the first place, I know I'm missing out.

Yeah they established very early on that it's not going to be another origin story.
And how Superman's written of course remains to be seen, but considering one of the descriptions they've given him for this movie, also early on, was "kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned", I'm inclined to think that they're at least on the right track. I'm already sold on the guy they picked to play him. Like, this is Clark Kent right here, David's got that Clark-brand earnestness down solid already.
