A previous blog post, titled 'Questions', had a question in it: should I rewrite Eclipse High School for Gifted Students? The reason was that (along with inspriation from Hùndùn (once again, definitely recommended) by Morgan Ray Hess) I was a little unsatisfied with it. Now, I've decided to delete and rewrite.

Act 1 Part 2 officially begins today, july 13 2017 on my birthday. Yes todays my birthday, no their are no parties in chapter and the story takes a darker path here. So prepare for spoilers, foreshadowing, cliff hangers and most of all references to some of my favorite shows.
Side note: I'll release the chapter about noon where i live, just wanted to get this out of the way.

Just wanted to say that I finished the 3rd chapter of Spectral Eclipse and am now only need to edit it before publishing!
It kinda got a bit longer than expected clocking at 7.4k words.

I've been busy lately while having nothing to do. If it seems like a massive contradiction to you, then congratulations you're in the same position I am. So, in preparation for covering the Grimm Eclipse content in SAPR I thought that it might be a good idea for me to actually play RWBY: Grimm Eclipse and my God is it a slog to get through in single player (if the intent was to vividly bring home why huntsmen are assigned to four-man teams: good job!); even in normal difficulty...okay, I'm not the best gamer in the world but it doesn't seem right that such a simple button masher should be so difficult. So I'm trying something a little different with this post. As I write and develop my stories I have a tendency to write up a fair amount of documentation on the development process as a whole, the vast majority of which never gets seen. So I figured that sharing little snippets of that documentation every once in a while would be a productive way of getting it out there.
For volume 1 I'll be focusing on the larger theme behind New Horizons that has definitely gone over people's heads.

First things first, A Heart Eclipsed is getting a rewrite from the ground up. Not too much is going to change story-wise, but the crossover with Alex will be significantly different and I'll be dropping the early-chapter perspective switches. It's a mode that just didn't work out.
I dunno if I spelled that right because it was in cap.
I am so stinkin' lazy this summer.

Just wanted to say that Spectral Eclipse is not dead and I still plan to continue, just had been busy with university.

You may notice that the very last chapter has the same title as the first (and shortest) story arc of the whole tale. 
That was it; there may be some short stories after a while, though, so don't forget to have a look once in a while!

I really hope no brony's or pegasisters hate me for what I had to do in episode 4, seeing it was crucial to the plot. What are your thoughts on the end of episode 4? I believe this is my best one so far, seeing it steps outside of the show a little.

It’s going to be a big one, with 9400 words already written and several sections still to write or complete. If it gets too big I’ll break it up again, but for now, it remains intact. I will be attempting to get it ready for release in time for next weekend or sooner. In the meantime? Everyone’s been patient, so here’s a teaser. I promised this would be the climactic confrontation between Nightmarity and Eclipse, and here’s the immediate lead up its final action:

an AU story featuring my OCs Eclipse and Little Angel, and Button Mash
Work has proceeded apace on the next Nightmare Night chapter ever since the last one was released, and the next one now stands unfinished at a whopping 12k words with still more to be written.
