First there was nothing
Second there was everything
Third was the sphere
Fourth came the wave
Here am I
Sixth will be a line
Lastly there will be nothing
First there was nothing
Second there was everything
Third was the sphere
Fourth came the wave
Here am I
Sixth will be a line
Lastly there will be nothing
"Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant tide
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine
And no one showed us to the land
And no one knows the wheres or whys
But something stirs and something tries
And starts to climb towards the light
Strangers passing in the street
"Ticking away the moments
That make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours
In an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground
In your hometown
Waiting for someone or something
To show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine
Staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long
And there is time to kill today
And then the one day you find
Ten years have got behind you
Given recent events, I believe that it would be appropriate to give my opinion on things, for what it’s worth. Living in New York City, it isn’t always obvious how much of a factor racism is in the United States. Granted, my mother did insist that as a black man, I will have to work twice as hard to get the same recognition as a white person. However, I was never raised with a victim mentality, and knowing how far we have come as a society, I know that colorblindness is possible, even if
"Us and Them
And after all, we're only ordinary men
Me, and you
God only knows it's not what we would choose to do
Forward he cried from the rear
and the front rank died
And the General sat, as the lines on the map
moved from side to side
Black and Blue
And who knows which is which and who is who
Up and Down
And in the end, it's only round and round and round
Haven't you heard it's a battle of words
I hate mixing politics with ponies—I come here to take a break from the real world, not have current headlines shoved in my face all over again.
But this needs to be brought up.
"I figured it out. Pink Floyd is the equivalent to getting a message on your brain." - from Dragan232
"Welcome my son, welcome to the machine
Where have you been?
It's alright we know where you've been
You've been in the pipeline, filling in time
Provided with toys and 'scouting for boys'
You brought a guitar to punish your ma
And you didn't like school, and you
Know you're nobody's fool
So welcome to the machine
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine
What did you dream?

"The Lunatic... Is On The Grass
The Lunatic... Is On The Grass
Remembering Games... And Daisy Chains And Laughs
Got To Keep The Loonies On The Path
The Lunatic... Is In The Hall
The Lunatics... Are In My Hall
The Paper Holds Their Folded Faces To The Floor
And Every Day... The Paper Boy Brings More
And If The Dam Breaks Open Many Years To Soon
And If There Is No Room Upon The Hill
I offer my condolence to his family and friends. His last words, "I can't breathe", are strongly reminiscent of Eric Garner's exact words before he died from being put in a chokehold. Firing the police officers is not enough. They need to be charged and face jail time for committing murder.
"As you look around this room to tonight
Settle in your seat and dim the lights
Do you want my blood, do you want my tears
What do you want
What do you want from me
Should I sing until I can't sing any more
Play these strings until my fingers are raw
You're so hard to please
What do you want from me
Do you think I know something you don't know
What do you want from me
Hey everyone,
Prismatic is complete with its second and final chapter, one year after I published the first.
This was not an easy chapter to write, nor the one I originally envisioned in 2017. There's a lot to be said for good intentions.
For now, I am glad to have completed Prismatic. I am proud of how the chapter (and ending) turned out, even though it doesn't line up with what I had initially planned for this story.
Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in a very long time, I'm writing consistently again.
Check below the break for more!
Been looking into crime stats... Baltimore has gotten OUTRAGEOUSLY bad! People are getting blown away in the Inner Harbor area for nothing! Gangs feel so emboldened by the pathetic government there that LITERALLY people who just happen to walk too close to them are being shot.
What a disgrace. This is what BLM got that city. Burn, Loot, Murder... THAT is the reality.
It's here! Enjoy!
