As I've mentioned a few times on this blog, I'm a fan of the Japanese metal-Idol fusion band Babymetal. Tickets for their upcoming USA tour went on sale this morning and, after a snafu that kept me from getting best seats, snagged tickets to two shows -- one 4hrs from my home, the other 6hrs. That's kept me from writing. Anyway, shall we?

So, in my last blogs I talked about recovering from the hardest burnout I've ever gone through, a debt accrued over seven years. I realized most of that really was the drive to monetize my work. It shaped everything I had been thinking about my writing for years, now, in subtle and unsubtle ways. Becoming financially stable through other means let me massage all those knots and work something out.

So, I said my next blogpost would be Author's Notes for my latest Sunset story. That's obviously not the case, and I'm sorry. However, I am working on the story right now. Today, I posted a small oneshot called Sins of the Mother which features the human counterparts of the Dazzlings. It features family problems and some things like abuse. This story is technically a teaser for my main idea of a family dynamic story, but I don't know if I want to write a full story unless I see what other people think of the idea. Either way, it was a blast to write and I hope you all like it~
