IN WHICH I PERSEVERED AND DID SOMETHING
After more than a month of talking about it and apologizing for the difficulties of writing it, I have finally finished the initial draft of my next Sunset Shimmer "Recovery" story! I was determined to get it done before Easter, but that didn't quite work out because I ran into a snag at the very end -- even though I had the ending planned from the beginning, it turned out more difficult than I expected to put it into words. One particular character moment, the final line, took me by surprise.
For the record, I have published twenty different stories to this site, and not one of them used a prereader or editor -- every single word is my own with little to no input from anyone. It's something I take an odd pride in. However, I'll admit I'm not entirely pleased with this draft. It's readable, but I know it could be better and I'm not quite sure how.
Therefore, for the first time ever, I believe I will ask for help, for another pair of eyes that can catch what I might have missed. After being those eyes for a couple of authors now, I have come to see its utility. If you might be interested, please let me know.
I now must decide whether to sleep, get some walking in (if the weather cooperates), or watch Youtube. Peace out!
You'll probably get other offers, but I volunteer
Yeehaw! Congrats on the rough draft. Hit me up if you like!
