I'm trying my best to have a double release this week, since it's going to be extra intense. Here's a preview of what's to come:
If you've been following my blogs, you might recall a particular idea I had for a potential If You Give a Little Love prequel. Well, now that summer has come and I have more time to write in general, I think I'll at least get started on it. I'm not really sure if there's any demand for it, but I've been wanting to explore Babs' parents' story in depth for a while now, so I hope you all give it a
And right before the end of Act II! I can't wait to see how it'll fare throughout the course of its run. A lot of popular series seem to be ending/have just ended, so maybe we have more of a shot now! (I know I shouldn't be thinking this deviously as an author, but I get competitive like this sometimes.)
While the two stories have stayed pretty separate so far, I've told some of you that a plot twist from IGYALL will show up in Light Pollution before it shows up in the parent series...if it does at all. This twist is a teensy bit controversial, so I'm not sure whether or not to directly mention it in the original. You won't need to know it to enjoy IGYALL or any of the other stories in the 'verse, but if you're especially curious, feel free to check it out!
Winghorse schemed! Poke that link if you really like NLD for whatever reason and want it in a physical form you can hold--with your hands as well as your hearts. :3
Wing says, "I got enough messages to make it a thing. Science!"
Boy, there are a lot of milestones to look for this time. The latter two aren't much to elaborate on--but they're still things I never thought I'd get to in one of my stories. I owe it all to your support and the way it keeps me pushing for better and better things!
[Since IYGALL has been such a massively long ride, I figured there's too much for me to talk about in just one blog post. Today's is more cut-and-dry history, while tomorrow's will be more of just random thoughts I had at various points while writing. Also, just gonna warn you, I do crack some dumb jokes in this section]
This was written for the Rare Story Prompts Challenge #1: First or Second person HiE, with a FEMALE point of view character..
Before I release the new set of parts, I figured that since the questioning thing worked well last time, that I'd ask another. This time, it has more to do with one of the major themes of the story: the theatre. For those theatregoers who may be reading this series, I really hope that I haven't messed up the way things work on set too much, but know that it doesn't work exactly like the Earth system: after all, this is still Equestria. (I have yet to find an IRL equivalent to the Bridleway
The depicted sign was attached to every door in the auditorium for reasons inexplicable to the cast immediately following Scene's discovery of Mosely's secret.
So, new part is finally ready for your viewing pleasure. If you've got some time in between working on all your final projects, feel free to hit it up and tell me what you think!
Thanks to anyone who's donated already. I'm more than halfway to my goal!
I'll see if I can bring my little video camera to record some of my run, though I suspect it's going to be tricky to hold onto. I do need to get one of those little Go-Pro things I can glue to my face or whatever eventually, especially when I start up my bike-a-thon again next year.
Anyway, here's a repeat of the info:

Another day means more progress.
Beat the second gym. Whiped twice again. That Herdier and Watchog was some piece of work!
Got my first couple of evolutions. First Lillipup into my own Herdier and it looks so cool. Then NAHASH evolved into Servine which looks... Stupid to be honest. But I know the final evo is awesome. And lastly AMETHYST evolved into Liepard!
I figured you'd be interested in some of the songs that touched on certain nerves in me for the Act II finale. Warning: they're all a bit odd in their own way.
For the parts about Babs' birth parents and their ill-fated romance (which you will soon find out about in full), this song always came to mind:
Cameo doesn't strike me as a Madonna type, but for some reason this song is like her leitmotif...
Admittedly, this is something I've been wanting to do for a while, but once the new IYGALL coverart came out, I felt all the more motivated to try it out. Namely, the big surprise of the week is: IYGALL no longer has that weird time skip in the beginning!
Of course, I couldn't help myself when I found out about this, so here's a look at the Orange of our production and the dark secrets he has...
(Oh, and Coco's parents show up, too.)
THAT'S RIGHT BABYYYYYYYY
Vinyl and Octavia are back on your bookshelves for the second part of "Silent Love"! Catch it right here.
I'm so glad I'm back to writing their adventures!
Lil' change of plans: "On The Run" will be on hiatus for some time, to get the right ideas to flow in my head. Sorry to those who were expecting the next chapters! I swear it will come back eventually!
This isn't taken straight from the beginning, but I personally found this the part that would be most of interest to all of you. (Also, it's revealed in this part that Scene didn't quite tell Remy the whole story with Mosely. What he left unsaid will be a mystery to you for now. )
[SPOILERS FOR NEW EPISODE INTENSIFY]
To be fair, I've had this oneshot idea at least since July, but the last episode really made me want to write it. Babs shouldn't be the only one without a shield cutie mark, so an honorary one and hug-filled cheer-up session is in order!
I've been kicking this idea around for a while and decided to actually pull the trigger on it.
I'd like to do a print of PONY Legacy. Unlike most Ponyfeather Publishing titles, this will be a limited run -- each book will be signed by me, hand-numbered, and made out to you specifically if you like. As a limited, personalized book, each copy will be $40 plus shipping. I'm also hoping it can include a soft enamel pin, because I love pins (more on that in a bit).
