IGYALL 3rd Anniversary Announcement! · 2:56am Mar 31st, 2017
Well, this is a milestone I never thought I'd achieve when I first set metaphorical pen to metaphorical paper back in 2014. The complexity of this story, in many cases, truly ran away from me. To commemorate this occasion, several updates will be added to the IGYALL verse over the next year to (hopefully) enhance reader experience:
* A new mini-drama arc to begin in the next part (out sometime this weekend).
* New cover art!
* A TV Tropes page, currently under construction.
* Act IV will be a mixture of slice-of-life and two-to-three part drama arcs, just like Act I. It will end at 65 parts, with the possibility of a shorter 5-part "Act V." (Yes, that number is significant, and I'll explain why later.)
* The completion of IGYALL's first sister series, Light Pollution, and possibly the beginning of a prequel series, Snake Oil and Cameos.
* A secret not shown in Act II will be revealed in Light Pollution within the next few months...?!
* Q&A sessions in the blogs.
* Act I, Scene I will be retooled to make the beginning a little less confusing.
* A possible BronyCon panel (acceptance pending since I just filled out the application).
* A one-shot series, If You Have a Little Hope, focusing on characters' lives outside the play, AUs, and the like. When IGYALL is completed, IYHALH will become the "epilogue series" with looks into the future.
Also, a potential bomb I need to drop: if I intend to cap it at 65 parts, IYGALL will end in late 2017 or early 2018. This means that it may not be active for its fourth anniversary, but I fully intend for its legacy to live on in other ways...
