New Let Somepony Love You Out Soon! · 4:34am May 8th, 2020
The Imperfect Storm draft took me longer than expected, but eventually, the global pandemic made me realize I had to get it done sooner or later. And so, I'm back on FiMFiction (for a limited time, at least, more about that in a bit), and ready to update my stories!
Up first is Let Somepony Love You Part Two, followed by the We Could Be Heroes finale that I really should have written a year ago. I'll write a few oneshots other than that (including an IYGALL one where I finally incorporate some the more...controversial ideas I've had about one of my OCs). To put a long story short, I've wanted to examine the psychological effects being a member of the Orange family can have for a while now, and Valencia is about as messed up as any cult victim would be...and then some. I get the feeling I might get a ton of dislikes for this, especially since it kinda mirrors some of the weirder things medieval European royals did, and that's all I'm saying about that for now.
More importantly, I'll throw this right out there--after working on Imperfect Storm, I've found it harder to go back to the MLP world. If you've been following my blog, you might know I've been waffling about retiring for a while now, and the last anyone heard of it, I decided not to go through with it. But now that Imperfect Storm is reaching its drafting phases, I've really thought about winding down my FiMFiction content. I'd like to do one last summer on this site, as a sort of entertainment for you all during the COVID-19 epidemic, but anything beyond that is pretty much unlikely. I do apologize to the long-time fans who might be disappointed by this decision, but I'll be sure to put everything I have into Imperfect Storm so that someday soon, you might see my works again on a different stage. This project has been in the making since even before I started writing fanfiction, and I hope you'll end up liking it every bit as much as my past stuff.

(Which, I'll be honest, was probably one of the most startling revelations I had about IYGALL aside from "the Oranges are an actual cult.") After which, I decided I had to put a reference to it somewhere in the series. (Rise of Skywalker may not have been the best, but now I want to see fanart of Babs in Rey's costume now that I've really let the Star Wars comparisons fly.)
