If you've been following my blogs, you might recall a particular idea I had for a potential If You Give a Little Love prequel. Well, now that summer has come and I have more time to write in general, I think I'll at least get started on it. I'm not really sure if there's any demand for it, but I've been wanting to explore Babs' parents' story in depth for a while now, so I hope you all give it a read.
The title will be "Snake Oil and Cameos," and the three main characters for the time being will be Flynn, Cameo, and Mosely. These three had more interactions than you might've thought, and this story's here to tell you all about it! Snake Oil and Cameos will have shorter parts than If You Give a Little Love, simply because Flynn still likes Mosely at this point so he doesn't get to screw that up quite yet it is a more straightforward love story and doesn't have as big of a cast. It might also update a bit less, maybe one or two parts a month if we're lucky. (This will especially be the case when I go back to school and education and getting IYGALL parts become my top priorities again.) Finally, it'll also have fewer chapters: only about 20 at the most.
But before I get into that and writing more IGYALL, I kind of want a chance for the readers to catch a break from the darker things that've been happening in the current series and that are projected to happen in this one. So, I might write a comedy fic this week, since I've really been on a roll with ideas and since I got a great idea from the new episode.
