New IYGALL-Verse Story Out Soon (IMPORTANT BLOG POST)

Good news: I finally finished something fanfiction related over the weekend and am very close to sending it all you guys' way. Bad news: this is going to be a fair bit more complicated than any of you might be expecting. In fact, it could very well be the most controversial thing I've ever written. This week, I will be providing you with official IYGALL cut content.

New Let Somepony Love You Out Soon!

The Imperfect Storm draft took me longer than expected, but eventually, the global pandemic made me realize I had to get it done sooner or later. And so, I'm back on FiMFiction (for a limited time, at least, more about that in a bit), and ready to update my stories!

Question Time Again! · 3:32am Jul 6th, 2016

Before I release the new set of parts, I figured that since the questioning thing worked well last time, that I'd ask another. This time, it has more to do with one of the major themes of the story: the theatre. For those theatregoers who may be reading this series, I really hope that I haven't messed up the way things work on set too much, but know that it doesn't work exactly like the Earth system: after all, this is still Equestria. (I have yet to find an IRL equivalent to the Bridleway collab system in this series.) But what I'm really curious about is the types of plays you like.

As a student studying English in college, I'm naturally partial to Shakespeare, but what I like even more are musicals. I've never been the acting type, but I've always loved watching them. My favorites would probably have to be Wicked and Brigadoon. Spellshock, the fictional play Stealer-Orange is putting on, is a magical/Equestrian version of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which is a musical comedy I really like. And, since the conversation will likely eventually get to this point, I have yet to see Hamilton, as most of the productions I see are done by community theatres. (I've only ever seen two Broadways: Wicked and The Lion King, and both were on tour.) Tomorrow night, I'm going to a community performance of Rock of Ages, and I'm going into it just knowing that I like the soundtrack and that Tom Cruise was terrible in the movie version. :rainbowlaugh:

Anyway, I'd like to hear your opinion on this as well, but without further ado, let's dive in:

Shattered Dreams and Painful Truths
