Another day means more progress.
Beat the second gym. Whiped twice again. That Herdier and Watchog was some piece of work!
Got my first couple of evolutions. First Lillipup into my own Herdier and it looks so cool. Then NAHASH evolved into Servine which looks... Stupid to be honest. But I know the final evo is awesome. And lastly AMETHYST evolved into Liepard!
Team Plasma stole a Dragonite skull for some reason and fled into the forest they blocked before. I actually got lost trying to find the last one (I didn't see the hollow trunk pathway!) But I beat them all and got a Moon Stone as a reward. I know I can use it to evolve CAROL, but I'm waiting until it has learned all the moves I want first.
Now I'm at a bit of an impass. See, I want a Venipede for my team, but I've decided to catch a shiny one. Because they look so cool! And as I'm hunting full odds, random encounter style, this will probably take awhile... I'm up to 216 enounters already.

I'm still probably the only person to never run into a shiny outside of red gyarados. I did get a shiny deoxys from an online trade years ago.
