Holy hell, I am in love with Steven Universe after that episode. Hot diggity damn, that hit all the right notes for me. It was funny, hopeful, dark, deep, and, perhaps most importantly, it introduced lore.

I wish I could say that this was some announcement about the next chapter of Hell & High Water. I wish I could tell you that chapter 18 is nearly done and I'm just pondering a few minor details.

It's been a couple months and I've nearly fully recovered. It's gonna take longer for my family though, especially my dad and grandmother. I've been trying to spend more time with her because she gets very lonely a lot of the time, plus she's my favorite family member and in the recent months I've been getting more freedom to go where I please.

Have you ever been so tired that you just see movement out of your peripheral? Like, just now, I was working on the next chapter of Nothing Without Me and I could've sworn I saw something moving out of the corner of my eyes. I haven't been sleeping very much as of late, and I think it's starting to catch up to me. I really should try to get some sleep.

Or I could finish rewatching Steven Universe in lieu of new episodes. I'll probably go with that second one.

Being sick might be causing more issues then I thought... I've been having breathing issues, no matter what I try I can't seem to get my breathing under control and I'm at a lost, this sickness has become more concerning, now if it's not better by tomorrow I'm going to probably go see a doctor. Like it feels like there's something in my throat and no matter what kinda cough medicine I take I can't get it to go away, at this point I've tried everything

Someone asked me for the recipe to those Bacon Beignets I almost murdered my family making, so, here it is.

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons warm water
1 packet (2 ½ teaspoons) quick-rise yeast
¼ cup sugar
6 tablespoons buttermilk*
1 large egg
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled**
¼ teaspoon salt

I spoke the other day about my sleep deprivation causing me to see movement where there wasn't any.

Tonight, I've upgraded to hearing things.

I'm staring at my ceiling, trying to get some sleep, when I hear what sounds like a little girl. I know that sounds cliche, but I swear to Christ, I heard a child outside my room. I couldn't make out what she said, something about her mom, I think.

Time to watch MST3K until 9 in the morning instead of sleeping.

I just grabbed some wrestling merch, for the first time in like a decade. I gotta say, this merch is... Phenomenal.

We've scheduled an appointment with the vet to see what's wrong with his eyes. Just based on how they look right now, it seems like he's developed cataracts. To be honest, now that I think of it, the warning signs were showing up for a little while already. He was tripping on the stairs a lot more often than before, for one, and he started bumping into people and furniture a lot more often as well.
