Welcome back once again writers! It’s time for Being a Better Writer, your Monday installment of writing advice and guidance, and today … Well, today is actually a bit of a bump in the queue.
I finally got around to having my OC character made and here he is. Meet Midnight Radiance. Heavily inspired from my love of Naruto.
I have noticed in some fanfictions a tendency to depict characters acting very much out of character. I call this using the Character In Name Only, and it is a sin against good writing in an established universe.
Beware! This list can spoiler you some future characters from chapters I'll post soon!
Keep the errors^^ This is just a small list I use in between the chapters as a small cheat 
Night Watch: small thestral mare with dark-grey coat and a short cut jet-black mane. she got light-green eyes and a an eye on a purple spiral as cutie mark.
So, I changed the characters that are friends with Rarity. It looked exactly like this:
Twinkleshine - Citrus Blush
Lemon Hearts - Cayenne
Minuette - North Point
Moondancer - Coco Pommel
If you go in the first chapter, you will see that it has already been modified. I hope everyone is happy with the change
To my readers and people who follow me, I'm sorry for not uploading for a long time but Writer's Blocks, a lazy slacker of a fan who cheap out in typing & the obsessive pain of family members who refuse to learn or bother to try. I haven't been typing some new chapters lately but I have manage to balance out in type 2 chapters for 2 separate stories and a future chapter for one story (Got in the zone couldn't stop typing it.) I am a proud member of the fandom. Not this fandom but The Fandom. The Fanfiction Fandom to be precise. That means I read more fanfiction of a show than I actually watch, supposing I ever got around to watching it in the first place. Basically, I treat fanfics more like original pieces of fiction without giving a care about the source material.

Not every character is a success the moment they appear on screen. Some characters just fail to achieve a lasting impact, or end up succeeding too well at being a character we're supposed to hate.
