You might've been close to quitting the fandom, and decided to head over for a last huzzah before fading into the obscurity of the internet (only to inevitably emerge again in another fandom, years from now, when you thought you had put all of this BS behind you.)

You had some ups and downs but you were an okay year in my book. Good year for cinema too.

Well, better start writing up some resolutions.

Guess who went to BABSCon 2018? This guy! And on top of wasting tons of money on ridiculous stuff and going to panels and collecting lots of party stories, I also lugged my microphone and my phantom power setup with me, and I took two free hours to make a little rap in my hotel room.

My first Bronycon! :> My first convention ever, really. I've wanted to go for a while now, since I usually knew a few friends that would be going, and this year's the first that I can!

It'd be neat to meet some of you there :) I'll probably hang around the fabled Writer's Room or whatever they call it. If not, I'll be wandering around the halls either filming a youtube video or trying to figure out what you're supposed to do at these things besides film youtube videos.

Mostly because I don't really have the whole interpersonal emotional connection that makes big group holiday events a fun activity.
