I'm writing a story with changelings in it and I literally named somebuggy Ocellus.
Then I see the premiere. 
Ovipositorblocked!
It took me time and research to come up with that name. 
I guess great minds think alike. Well, great Hasbro mind thinks like wolf mind, at least.
“So, you know your way back?” Thorax asked as he and the others trudged their way through the barren wastelands.
“It’s a village called ‘Maplewood’. We’re about halfway there,” Hero responded.
“Perfect. We’ll just drop him off and have one less mouth to feed,” Pharynx deadpanned, earning a firm nudge from his younger brother.
The group immediately froze when they heard what sounded like a faint rumbling noise, which they quickly realized was coming from the ground beneath them.
As of late, The Owtcast has done several live readings of my works, most of which have not gotten readings yet.

"This is gonna be great!" Ocellus exclaimed, giggling. Pharynx handed her a microphone and shushed her.
"Quiet, she's coming."
Ocellus tilted her head to the side to hear better. "Coming in from the southwest side. Twenty paces off."
"Exactly, so come on!" Pharynx grabbed her hand and dragged her off.
This is gonna be a story that Oculus will be doing, about Smolder being a boxer and stuff.

When I wrote this story, I honestly wasn't sure about finishing it or posting it. When I did on Sunday night, I just thought I'd just sleep on it and see what the reaction would be. I did not expect it to be featured the following Monday and Tuesday, nor did I expect it to end up being a forum discussion on Changeling headcanons, but thank you so much for the feedback and reception. It was nice to see some readers comment on errors and room for improvement, as well as say how much they liked

“So Passion and Umbra are playing Twister again?”
“Mhm. They’ve been playing it since they were kids.”
“Look how adorable they look.”
Bezier looked over to the pair; Passion and Umbra were both in twisted poses, but most noticeable thing about it was Passion’s large, plump butt right in Umbra’s face.
She snickered. “Enjoying the view, Umbra?”
Been a while since I did one of these. Story stuff first.
"Oi, Phary, a word?"
"What do you need, mom?"
"I was wondering if you'd enjoy having some tea and biscuits in my room. I've some work to do and I needn't do it by myself if you'd want to help."
*Standing nearby, staring* "...Um... Fortuna? Did Kydra slip some kind of language barrier potion in your water this morning?"
So as promised, I uploaded a sequel to ‘I Owe You One’. It would have been up sooner if only I didn’t keep second guessing myself on all of it, from the dialogue to the title itself (which is a great song, by the way). I hope y’all enjoy ‘Softly’.
Also, more ideas have been brewing in my mind. Oddly enough, one is a sequel and one is new. We’ll see what happens. And yes, I’m still working on that giant YonaBar fic. Over halfway done!
Anyway, back to my 9 to 5.
Twilight: So, I have you six here because--
Ocellus: Can we not right now? This is cutting into my cardio time.
Gallus: No one cares about how healthy you are.
Ocellus: I can change the world one salad at a time.
"Pharynx! Thorax! Someling made a huge mess at the craft time table!"
"Oh great, so what do we have to do about it?"
"...Help clean it up?"
"Alright. You two have fun."
"Pharynx, you're coming too."

The first two chapters of Changeling Theory have already been released, with the third still undergoing edits. Chapters will be released inconsistently, seeing as the story isn't pre-written. However, don't fret a hiatus! The overall goal is to write a bulk of chapters by the end of each month. By writing in bulk, I can ensure a speedier publishing process and make edits to chapters ahead of time if I need to.
Had a few ideas for a sequel to Ocellus' Flirting Skills Are Trash called Smolder's Dating Skills Are Fire. OFSAT is probably my most popular SFW fic at the moment. So was curious if anyone would read it if I wrote it.
Hey, all, quick couple of announcements.
Second story of the Bastion trilogy now has a full first draft. I'll finish the third story's first draft, then go back and start over and edit things for consistency with theme and such, as per usual when doing larger projects. Advance warning, though: I'll be using Starlight Glimmer extensively in the first two. Feel free to tune out if that's a hard 'no' for you.
