Status update and announcement: Ocellus at the Trader's Exchange. · 4:11pm Apr 25th, 2020
Hey, all, quick couple of announcements.
Second story of the Bastion trilogy now has a full first draft. I'll finish the third story's first draft, then go back and start over and edit things for consistency with theme and such, as per usual when doing larger projects. Advance warning, though: I'll be using Starlight Glimmer extensively in the first two. Feel free to tune out if that's a hard 'no' for you.
In other news, if you're looking to get your changeling shenanigan fix somewhere, I've finally settled on a project I know I can finish and keep small: a Trader's Exchange oneshot fic, featuring Ocellus. While I still haven't seen every episode she's in (need to finish the last few episodes of Season 8, then wrap up the series at some point) I think she's simple enough to do justice, at least?
So, what will Ocellus be trading, and what is she trading for?
Cards. Trading cards. Expect to see the stereotypes of trading card gamers played out, with some more Starlight Glimmer goodness and a little bit of character background. I guess Starlight is the new Scootaloo for me, since I can't use the old one anymore...
Anyway, Ocellus, trading cards, pony words. Writing good, hopefully.
