I really really hope that because her alicorn form in glowing and transparent is because it's fake and temporary.
If not then I'm pretty sure it's just writers probably going lazy and choosing a very easy route. They probably didn't want to create a whole arc/seasons of Sunny becoming worthy of becoming an alicorn so they just gave it to her.
Here it is. Looks like a fun 3D platformer with minigames by a fairly new but promising development studio. And it's priced for a budget. I'll be preordering it. How about you guys? My only wish is that we'd gotten something like this for G4.

I don’t think many people expected a new generation of ponies to arrive only two or so years after the fourth had ended. And notably, not one that feels quite unique compared to the ones that came before it: a 3D animated feature-length film set an uncountable number of years after G4 had ended, featuring a new cast of characters and locales.
So, me and my wife watched My Little Pony: A New Generation just now. Part of me was dreading it was just going to be a complete mess that didn’t know what it was going to be as a sequel to a pop-culture phenomenon like Friendship is Magic, while the other part was hoping it’d somehow blow my mind away.
To my utter disappointment; it did neither.
The movie was just meh.
I didn't catch it day 1, but I have now watched My Little Pony: A New Generation. It liked it. I really want to get to know and explore the very different places the separated pony societies live in, and the main characters are all a lot of fun to watch. Izzy Moonbow and Donut Lord Hitch Trailblazer are my definite favourite characters. When it comes to the Friendship is Magic connection, i'm content with the fact that they referenced it, but otherwise allowed this film to stand on it's

And today...well, for my 24th TV show analysis, I'm gonna give you guys my take on "My Little Pony: Pony Life".
Well, I'm here again with a debunk of Mykan...
...Sorry, force of habit.
That's right. This debunk has absolutely nothing to do with Mykan. Don't worry though, I'm sure he'll make it about himself somehow. No, this debunk is of a forum thread in a group on this site. There are 3 kinds of haters of MLP G4 (and I know that the fact that I specifically refer to it as G4 will get under the skin of those who fall under today's topic).
I'm a month late to this, but here's my take on MLP: TNG (or whatever we're calling it). I was underwhelmed the first time I watched it, but I gave it a second chance, and it started to grow on me. I think my mistake was watching Raya and the Last Dragon just a few days before the G5 movie. Both movies have similar themes and plots, but they handle them differently. More on that later.
Well this is late.
After having more than enough time to think on it (as well as catch a break from life 
) I can safely say that My Little Pony: A New Generation was great! 
And here are my random thoughts:
So I watched that new small horse movie. It was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 7/10. I don't feel my time was wasted, I enjoyed it. But I would probably not watch it again. (And those of you who follow my reviews, know that a 7 from me is still earned.)
The Good:
Over the past few days, I had worked on a My Little Pony Fanfic involving Christmas. The fanfic involves
-A nod towards the My Little Pony G3 special: A Very Minty Christmas
-Will star Starlight Glimmer, though others will have a focus
-Besides Starlight, other G4 characters like Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash will make an appearance
-Will also feature G5 characters like Pipp Petals and Zipp Storm. The third one is a mystery
Spoiler-free TLDR: It was actually pretty good! Go watch it if you’re able and haven’t, then come back and read this.
Well, G4's been dead for a while and G5 is nothing of note, so I decided to go back and finally fill in the gaps with G1 and G3
...Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by them
My Little Pony 'n Friends, the first half of G1, was far and away better than I thought it'd be at first glance
The animation's not great, the stories aren't deep, but the VA are having the time of their lives and bring so much life to the characters
Listening to the audio of Unleash the Magic from Equestria Games is rather empowering. The music from G4 is so underrated.
For instance, while being about Crystal Prep peer-pressuring Sci-Twi into ‘unleashing the magic’, I can’t help but - without the video - imagine Queen Chrysalis (close your eyes, and imagine—they have a similar ‘tone’).
So, here is something heavy-hearted, but also something with a hopeful outlook for the future..... Tomorrow, exactly 24 hours after the publication of this blog entry, "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth (Season 1)" will get unpublished from FIMFiction.net.

I apologize for not having the 3rd Saga to One as a Family out already. My life has been busy lately with all sorts of stuff going on. The good news, is that I have completed four arcs to this saga.
