It's three in the morning here and I'm about two months late to the matter at hand, but I have never been more inclined to bash FiM than I have right now. I stopped watching during season six, the season five finale just wrapped the show up so well for me, and I really disliked the season six finale.
However, I was browsing Derpi and randomly came across a tag, and then a set of images.
Been doing Funeral Things for most of the last couple days. But that's done now! And I'm home! And I had time enough along the way to drink some beers and watch pony cartoons on my tablet and that's what y'all are here for, right?
So yeah! This is the last 'normal' episode before Saturday's grand finale. And it's a wedding/shipping episode so I am all about it.
If the MLP writers do make another wedding episode with Big Mac and Sugar Belle, here are some of my ideas of how it will happen: - Applejack and Sugar Belle try to spend some quality time together before the wedding and they end up at another part of Equestria. They then hurry back to Sweet Apple Acres before the wedding starts. - Grand Pear is nervous of inviting some of the Pears to the wedding as he was afraid that some of the members didn't let go of the Apple/Pear family feud.
I approached Season 6 with low expectations, because I was concerned that Starlight Glimmer would take over the show and change the dynamic too much, possibly by getting her own Friendship Throne. These concerns turned out to be mostly unfounded. While Starlight has had the spotlight in the past couple of two-part episodes, she has been absent for the vast majority of Season 6. However, the show did lose some of its appeal for me, just not for the reasons I predicted.
Just in time for Nightmare Night! Just kidding; it has nothing to do with Nightmare Night! But I did dredge it up while looking for incomplete Nightmare Night stories I could finish and publish today. Still, you should definitely read:
This time I'm writing about "Brotherhooves social". I think the episode is super cute. I'm clearly going to have to talk about Mac's need to cross dress. It's weird. For some reason, though, I like the concept. Big Mac went extremely far to make his sister happy, and I think that is really awesome of him. I'm watching the episode as I write this, and I would really like to talk about the beginning. Applebloom makes a big show about everything her sister has done, and Applejack has done a lot,
So, in the last chapter of "The Iron Horse," Turing Test played a game of Reversi against Big Mac. She lost the first, but won the second, and was going to play a third. Did she win?
Well, I never did say. But what I will say is this: Turing Test never makes the same mistake twice. Well, at least not when it comes to something she can understand mathematically.
Well, I must say that I do not approve of this episode in the slightest! This episode features Big Macintosh in drag, which is clearly making fun of transgender people! It’s not like cartoons have been showing characters in drag for years ever since the original Looney Tunes. This episode is transphobic, just like that guy who wrote that fanfic about Pipsqueak and Rumble, and just like how the episode “Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?” was advocating self-harm.
In my most recent chapter of The Paths we Carve I elaborated on Amelio and how she usually ends with taking up smoking of some kind, more often than not healthy herbs that smell nice. Always using a pipe or a holder. I've been wanting to write another sex scene for awhile and I decided what better way to elaborate on Amelio's dominant nature than make something erotic involving her? Big Mac just happens to fit well with the kinks I adore using the most.
Marble has always been told to just put on a pretty smile. But sometimes the prettiest smiles hide oceans of deep secrets. When she meets a new pony, it's like all her worries and demons melt away.
Being a fan of the Applespike romance, the topic of Rarity's future always comes into question. I find that some of the best stories (for romance that is) have more than one pairing in the story, with the focus varying between main couples and sub/background pairings. This is simply to add depth to characters and ultimately makes it more enjoyable to read. As my brother said "there's more than one ship in a fleet" Cheesey I know, but so brilliantly punny.
I told Louis he didn't need to get this done until some time on Monday next week if he wasn't too busy, but he gave it to me today instead! Merry Christmas!
This'll likely be the last chapter for this year given the holidays and everything, but I think it makes for a nice way to round out the year. Hope you all enjoy it. Plenty of surprises and developments in this one!
